This article is not to discourage those of prospective students that have chosen the under listed schools as their most preferred universities in JAMB.

Some experts argue that there is no such thing as most difficult university to get admission into. Admission into any institution, they believe, may be easy or hard depending on the level of preparation on the side of applicants.

This school of thought may be true elsewhere, but not in Nigeria. Down here, it is cheap to gain admission into some schools compared to a few others.
Below are the top 10 we believe to be the hardest Universities to get into in Nigeria.
It is however, a way to remind you that it’s survival of the fittest!

The schools are;

1. University of Ibadan (UI)

And Number two is NOW a tie
2. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) & University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN)

3. University of Benin (UNIBEN)

4.Federal University of Technology Owerri(FUTO)

5. University of Lagos (UNILAG)

6. Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK)

7. Ahmadu Bello University (ABU)

8. University of Calabar (UNICAL)

9. University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).

10. University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT)

Special Release 06 September, 2017 NOTICE TO CANDIDATES WHO CHANGED COURSES/INSTITUTION TO UI This is to inform candidates who either changed courses or Institution to University of Ibadan on the JAMB website that the print out of the change is yet to be forwarded to the University. Candidates in this category may therefore not find their names on the University website or where they find it, the change might not have been effected in the ongoing login exercise. A new print out is being expected from JAMB. Affected candidates are therefore advised to exercise patience until the University receives the print out, and candidates’ details are placed on the website. Thank you. O. I. Olukoya, MNIM, FPA Registrar

Candidates should not panic as they would certainly sit for the PUTME in the Institutions they have made changes to.

Ozilman:
I would like to share my experience as regards Chang of institution and course I equally obtain the form and Change from university of Ibadan to university of Ilorin but when unilorin post jamb form came out and I wanted to register it keeps telling invalid jamb entries while the jamb entries in form of jamb reg and surname are correct, now UI post jamb is out I put in my jamb reg and surname lo and behold it signed in. unilorin became aware about the issue and they only extended their registration period by 48hours waiting for jamb to send the updated list
I have no option but to stick with UI, For those having same issue i just pray and hope it get rectify before the registration deadline cos 2 weeks to send the new list to varsity as quoted by someone here won't favour those that change to unilorin

U are at risk if u go ahead and pay for UI post utme because if jamb finally send the updated list ur name will be removed from UI database and won't be considered for admission so I will advice you to exercise patience this is incompetence of the highest degree from jamb

No news whatsoever from anybody??

Total score:7 (cried).............. Someone should tell jamb to send my credentials to UI so dat I can register for post utme before it's too late oooo
