The documentary shoot for the up coming PTCFC 2017 titled: “The Plateau story” is on the roll. It will be shown locally and internationally.

The documentary interview began on Friday the 28th of May 2016. The Carnival was endorsed by senior statesmen and stakeholders.

Amongst them are Professor John Wade, Director General, Research, Strategic Planning and Documentation Plateau state. Sir Joseph N. Ari, Director General, Industral Trust Fund (ITF)
Chief Daniel Dul, Chairman Langtang North LGC/ ALGON Vice Chairman, Plateau state.
The documentary titled “THE PLATEAU STORY” aims at telling the world the history of Plateau state. Its actually the reason for a carnival at this point in time.
Just like the theme of the Plateau Tourism, Culture and Food Carnival (PTCFC) 2017 edition implies, “There was a Plateau, There is a Plateau”. Their aim is to bring up a documentary to tell the Plateau story and let the world know that there is a great land with great people. Doesn’t stop there, it gets better with their hospitality, welcoming and accommodating spirit, Plateau state.

As the preparation for the Plateau Tourism Culture and Food Carnival PTCFC 2017 continues, the team have taken a further step to be endorsed by the Nigerian top class comedians.

Comedians Akporo, Empress Jamah, Gordons, Seyi Law and Gandoki have endorsed PTCFC 2017 edition. This was confirmed when they backed the team on their visit and have urged everyone to anticipate for the upcoming event in the state.
We recall that on the 13th of March 2017, Ikibe Entertainment Nigeria Limited received its endorsement from Plateau state Ministry of Tourism, Hospitality and Culture. It will be the first ever Plateau Tourism Culture and Food Carnival (PTCFC 2017 edition).

Ikibe Entertainment To Organize First Ever Plateau State’s ‘Plateau Tourism, Culture And Food Carnival 2017 (PTCFC 2017)

Ikibe Entertainment has been endorsed by the Plateau state Ministry of Tourism, Hospitality and Culture and Plateau State Government to organize the first ever Plateau Tourism, Culture and Food Carnival 2017 (PTCFC 2017). The endorsement was received by the MD/CEO, Mr Kingsley Ikibe and the CFO, Mr Alfred Wade at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Hospitality. Representing the Commissioner, Mr Peter J Mwankom, was the Deputy Director of Arts and culture, Mr. Dantala who congratulated them and ensured them the support of the Government and advised them to guard against complacency as the challenge ahead of them goes beyond the maiden edition of the carnival. The date for the carnival is yet to be set as the team is about to kick off its plans immediately.

Mr. Kingsley Ikibe thanked the Government for the trust bestowed upon them and assured the government of the teams’ total commitment. The CFO, Mr Alfred Wade extended the appreciation and assured the government that they will ensure this project boost the state revenue as the event involves the rich tourism, food and culture of Plateau state.

Ikibe Entertainment is open for sponsorship on the PTCFC and advice every industry, company and individual locally and internationally that want their product or services to be shown and recognized in Plateau state to key into this carnival as a platform.

Multiple award winner and ace gospel musician , Sonnie Badu, has dispelled rumours that he is dead .
A statement from Sonnie Badu’ s outfit urged his fans to disregard such reports from persons he described as “ unscrupulous bloggers. ”
“ The singer is alive and well in Australia where he is on a preaching assignment ,” the statement added .
Reports of the death of the musician went viral in the Ghanaian blogging space over the weekend .
The statement clarified that , Sonnie Badu was rushed to the hospital on Sunday , February 26 , 2017 , but was discharged two hours later .
“ News of the singer went viral on Sunday, 26 th February , 2017 , from his Instagram and management account entreating all to bear
with him up in prayer as he had an emergency and was at the hospital. After about two hours , his fans were updated that he was well and has been discharged from the hospital and this led to publications of his death , ” the statement explained.
