Per your request I'll write down my FORMULA and for free with real backed evidence

WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE STARTING:

Required Resources:

1. Team Stats – Get from Basketball-Reference or ESPN
Look for: Points Per Game (PPG), Defensive Rating (DRtg), Pace

2. Injury Report – Check NBA official injury report or Twitter 2–3 hours before games

3. Starting Lineups – Check ESPN or official team Twitter accounts or NBA lineups

STEP 1: LOOK UP TEAM STATS

Go to SOFASCORE → NBA → Team Stats

Find these 3 numbers for EACH team:

A) DEFENSE (Most Important!)

Look for Defensive Rating (DRtg)
Lower number = Better defense

How to identify:
Elite Defense = Ranked 1–10 (DRtg under 116)
Examples: Thunder (109.8 ), Rockets (111.5), Heat (112.0)

Mid Defense = Ranked 11–20 (DRtg 116–119)

Weak Defense = Ranked 21–30 (DRtg 119+)
Examples: Jazz (122.7), Wizards (123.3), Bulls (120.8 )

B) PACE

Look for Pace (possessions per 48 minutes)
Higher number = Faster game

How to identify:
Fast Pace = Ranked 1–10 (102+ possessions)
Examples: Grizzlies (102.3), Pacers (103.9), Celtics (102.5)

Mid Pace = Ranked 11–20 (99–102 possessions)

Slow Pace = Ranked 21–30 (under 99)
Examples: Thunder (97.2), Bulls (97.0), Spurs (97.8 )

C) OFFENSE (Points Per Game)
Look for PTS/G (Points Per Game)

How to identify:
High Scoring = 118+ PPG

Examples: Celtics (121.3), Warriors (119.2), Knicks (117.9)
Mid Scoring = 113–118 PPG
Low Scoring = Under 113 PPG
Examples: Kings (110.8 ), Bucks (112.4)

STEP 2: IDENTIFY GAME STYLE

Use defense + pace to classify the matchup:

Type A: GRIND GAME
Both teams: Elite Defense (top 10) AND Slow Pace
Example: Lakers vs Clippers, Thunder vs Heat
BET: UNDER

Type B: SHOOTOUT
Both teams: Weak Defense (21–30) AND Fast Pace
Example: Warriors vs Jazz, Wizards vs Bulls
BET: OVER

Type C: NORMAL GAME
One elite defense controls the pace
Example: Rockets vs anyone
BET: UNDER (usually)

Type D: CHAOS GAME
Neither team has elite defense (both ranked 11–30)
Example: Hornets vs Raptors
BET: Slight OVER bias

STEP 3: CHECK FOR INJURIES

Check NBA injury report or Twitter (search “Team Name injury”)
Who to look for:
Star Players (High Impact):
Players scoring 25+ PPG

Examples: Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Embiid, Jokic, Tatum, Luka
If OUT: Expected total drops 6–8 points

Key Defenders:
Elite rim protectors or perimeter defenders

Examples: Wembanyama, Gobert, Draymond Green
If OUT: Expected total goes UP 4–6 points

How to identify a star:
Team leading scorer on ESPN
20+ PPG = important
25+ PPG = star

STEP 4: CALCULATE EXPECTED TOTAL

Base Formula:
Expected Total = Team A PPG + Team B PPG

Adjustments:
Star OUT: −6 to −8 points
Elite defender OUT: +4 to +6 points
Both fast pace: +5 points
Both slow pace: −5 points

Example:
Lakers (115) + Clippers (116) = 231
Both slow pace: 231 − 5 = 226 expected

STEP 5: CALCULATE FLOOR & CEILING

Floor: Expected − 12
Ceiling: Expected + 12

Example:
Expected = 226
Floor = 214
Ceiling = 238

STEP 6: PICK YOUR LINE

Main line ranges:
Usually Main −13 to Main +13

For UNDER bets:
Pick a line 10–12 points ABOVE your ceiling

For OVER bets:
Pick a line 10–12 points BELOW your floor

STEP 7: THE INJURY RULE (CRITICAL)

When a star is OUT:

1. Adjust expected total
2. Adjust floor & ceiling
3. DO NOT reduce cushion!!!
Increase cushion to 12–15 points when injuries exist

STEP 8: CONFIDENCE CHECK

High Confidence:

Elite defense present
10+ point cushion
Clear game style


Medium Confidence:

One elite defense
8–10 point cushion
Some injuries


Low Confidence (Skip):

Cushion under 8
Too many unknowns
Warriors or Grizzlies

QUICK CHEAT SHEET

1. Both elite defense + slow pace → DEEP UNDER
2. Spurs games → UNDER
3. No elite defense → OVER bias
4. Warriors or Grizzlies → Add +5 cushion

SAMPLE WALKTHROUGH

COMMON MISTAKES

1. Small cushions❌️

Downside is that most of the odds are small and i don't like it
Any 2 leg parley that's not upto 2 odds is not profitable IN MY CASE so don't start attacking me
3 leg or longer parley are often dangerous cause it's like your village people are waiting for you to add it so they can cut it
Also you can see that i bet on 2 different platforms 1xbet and sporty
1xbet is my favourite cause i navigate it easily that's all
Sporty offers better odds range so that's why i switch to sporty for some games

I was at sporty testing some BB stuffs and i came across this game at 90+ minutes and i first check the game on sofascore app to see the lines movement and they were very good and i said YOLO! And bet 1k on over 0.5 and boom 💥 👌 😉

I stopped posting my games cause some people rather watch you win alone than to try helping them so I'll only post my won tickets
Union Berlin and VARcalona almost showed me shege today and honestly i have the highest confidence level in them but they made it in the last minute possible after some people cashout losses
The reason why I don't go for low odds games sometimes or most of the times is that the lower odd doesn't mean a guaranteed win, even a 1.15 odd can cut and even the highest odd like 33 can win especially in football where 60% is Teams ability while the 40% is luck
Still thinking about that PSG vs paris match and real madrid match, even someone who doesn't watch football would easily go for real madrid that day but the lineup is what to lookout for cause sometimes they underestimate the underdogs and sometimes just sheeeet happens 🤷
