@Luvola what's d outcome of d ASUU-Lasu meeting? Have they(ASUU/LASU) joined d striking union?

@stevetboy,think ur sch. shud hv considered the 1wk warning strike b4 fixing d exam date which was exactly what my sch did.
Moreover there is a probabiliy of FG intervening b4 den, so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Source from the official website of ASSU has it that at its recent meeting in UI has decleared a one week warning strike begining from monday 26th of this month. This is as a result of the non implementations of the crucial part of the 2009 FG-ASUU agreement in some states which is related to the issue of retirement at the age of 70years in service.

To all Nigerian students lets join our faith and believe that the FG will meet thier request before d stipulated date as faliure of doing so will interupt the iminent exams in most universities including mine.

It's so infuriating d way sum folks idiosyncrasize, being great is not just a day journey, so why not stop being sceptical nd embrace d schools those dat made it to d top. Without any iota of sentiment lasuites r gr8, sum of u just spit shit jst as a result of wat u heard, without accesing d stuff d school's made. It is so appauling d way sum pple rate schs based on strcuctures and number of cars parked in d premises. Last point i'd love to make is dat LASU is a state uni while others(unilag,yaba) r federally funded uni, give KUDOS to d state uni(LASU) 4 picking up d 2nd prize instead of critisizing However, u still av ur opinion nobody is pestering u to believe, but trust me lasuites r great nd i'm proud to be one. @d last poster(even ur GF's college, ) it's obvious dat u've neva passed tru any uni, I rest my case ve KUDOS to d state uni(LASU) 4 picking up d 2nd prize instead of critisizing However, u still av ur opinion nobody is pestering u to believe, but trust me lasuites r great nd i'm proud to be one. @d last poster(even ur GF's college, ) it's obvious dat u've neva passed tru any uni, I rest my case

This post in mainly 4 d prospective students of LASU dat wishes to study mathematics as his or her course of study in d university. Pls note dat d department of math, faculty of science is a deadly trap. If you really have d vision of graduating with good grades, why am i saying this? 1. This is a department dat has the largest numba of failed student records in d university. (year in year out i.e constant) 2. SOME of its lecturers r not up to standard, yet they set d most standardized exam questions amongst all Nigerian university 3. They don't give mark based on what u score(if u av a high score) in ur exam script, except 4 minor cases. They want a compromise before dat's done 4. They r TOO strict with marking of exam scripts 5. Only about 7% of its student can boast of a GP 3.5(No 1st class student 6. If you must have an A in any of its undergraduate course then you must be a post-graduate math student sumwhere else or u must be a "wizard". 7. Its lectures don't teach to enable u undrstnd d course rather they come to class give note nd go. 7. Sum of its lectures may not attend class up to three(3) times yet they'll set thier exam questions 8. most times they don't set exam questions base on what they tought in class. 9. And finally, SOME of its lecturers are corrupt.
So are you ready to bear all this burdens? You may end up not graduating with what u ought/want to and hence not securing a good job in d labour market. However if you have already registered math as ur course of study in d fourthcoming post utme be ready to bear d brunt n b prayerful 4 a +ve change. Else THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU APPLY 4 d course because many students now in d department r regreting thier actions. BE AWARE! argest numba of failed student records in d university. i'm talking about the full time change of course. it is almost 48 hours and i've not been sent my pin. i compalained to them 2tru their email and nothing has been done. wat else can i do coz the dead line is today.

I think i'm confused right now. . .The true story is dat i was not aware during d process of first choice, so i did not register neither do i av a pin. But now i've got the teller for the registratn(second choice), n on getting 2 d site it seems i can only register as secnd choice, but i choose d sch. only as 1st choice. pls i need sum genuine n confirmed elucidation this issue. thanks

Hi guys i'm Babajide, i need a very urgent n genuine info about this session admin. i choose UI in UTME as my first choice of institution n i scored a high score which i know will be OK for the course i choose-Geology-.BUT unfortunately due to a reason best known to God, i was absolutely not active during the processing of adm. -i mean purchasing of forms n all sorts-. . .but on checking their site i dicorved d first list is already out, is their anyway i can still make it with d admission,even if it mean changing the course. coz i don't want to waste d year.
