Don’t promise anything that you are not going to deliver. Infact if I were you I will tell her upfront, that you have only just met and marriage is a lifetime commitment and is not the first thing that you should even be considering right now

Tell her that it is even more in her own interest that she takes time to fully know the person that you are and not just to rely on outward appearances. Remind her that when marriages go wrong, it’s usually the woman who suffers most.

She might be right and you do both end up getting married one day, but in the meantime you must both make sure that you are doing everything possible to ensure that you are both marrying the right person for the right reasons.
