The test was relatively simple, I guess that's why they didn't attach the result so as to solidify their claims. I had already applied to countless jobs before that time. Also I was already familiar with the basics of the Language because of Duolingo, I was already on 14 in Duolingo.

In my opinion, I think it's a cumulative. The moment there's a doubt, any other comma that creates another doubt ultimately leads to a rejection.

The first room for doubt in what I read was the lack of Job search efforts - Remember, this is a job seeker visa afterall which should be the main priority, so this needed to have been shown, detailed and documented or the lackof justified in the motivation document or at the interview.

The second thing against him was the no work experience (or the lack of justification in whatever work experience was chosen), again discrediting the job seeking thing. Maybe the weak academic result is them saying those results dont have a competitive chance in their labour maket. But I would also like to know how he did in the test too. Then the lack of language prep is just the final blow.

Yes it's fully recognized, both the course and University, I studied Elect/Elect Engineering in the University of Ilorin. Based on ChatGTP response, they had added Proof of Job search on their checklist on their portal, which I didn't see on the checklist they gave me for the appointment, which was a major concern. Also, I should have gone with my employment letters to show my proof of experience. I think they have done a little tweak to the process, so everyone should take note, for those who are preparing for their interview.

On the Anabin website, is your degree and university fully recognized? Is it showing H+ or H- or H+/- or did you do ZAB and the result showed your degree is partially recognized?

Cause if it is partially recognized, you’ll be evaluated using a point system and you will need employment, language certificate, etc to boost your points cause normally all these isn’t necessary if your school and degree is fully recognized

I don’t think they follow the visa grant in a chronological order (based on interview date)

I believe everyone’s case is different, some might need more verification requiring more time while others might have a more straightforward or easier to verify documentation, hence why two people who interviewed same day might receive a visa approval on different days

Yes I studied Electrical Engineering and working as one but for the past few years I have tried transitioning to IT, so I have some certifications there. Maybe because of my journey in the University, I have not been able to fully embrace my course of study and sometimes suffer from imposter syndrome.

It went well, though the woman that interviewed me was unnecessarily tough. I was asked about most of the questions that people have mentioned on this thread. Where would you stay, if you don't get a job in the 12 months, what would you do. If you do get a job, what would you do? I was given an assessment also, I initially told the woman to give me questions in IT because I have experience in IT and Electrical Engineering but this woman refused because my current role was in Electrical Engineering. Though the questions were actually not difficult, I wonder why I was running away from it.

You should go with the original sponsorship letter if you can, if you can't, you can go with a scanned copy but I think most people here went with the original copy.

I have a Dell latitude 7390 for that amount but it doesn't have a dedicated Graphic card. A dedicated graphic card you mentioned is quite a stretch for that amount, you would need like 450k to get one with 1 or 2 GB of dedicated video memory for your video editing.

If you think you can only be making profits in business no matter how small, then you my friend is not ready for business. There's no business model built like that. During the price fluctuations there was a business I'm supposed to break even at ₦95, make a little profit at ₦110. To make it clearer I bought these items for ₦2.4M(at ₦120 per item) when the dollar was bullish. As we speak those items are ₦80 per item because the naira is rebounding. Now what is my loss? ₦40x2000=₦80,000. This is a business I'm supposed to be checking my profit but here I am checking my losses.
However I understand one thing. CASH IS KING!. I sold off what I had Took the money and bought more stock now at cheaper rate. My business people I believe we have seen the best of Naira performance. If I have to sell again at presiding rates I'll make small profits of course not compared to my loss. I'll buy again then make other profit and in no time I'll recover my loss. This is 1000% guaranteed. But the man that holds unto his stock because he bought at inflated price due to naira performance against USD. You stay with your stock hoping naira/USD does magic. You're cash strapped. You're illiquid. Listen again when money is immobile it's losing value.(Google up). Now I say this with a sincerity of heart. Not to make you all lose your hard earned money. This country is too hard to lose any penny now, but it is what it is. Sell what you have now, I believe if you buy with USD or RMB both are cheaper now.
