I thought I should open a thread on how to identify SA tribes by their dance moves just so that you don't have to assume that every SA traditional dance you see it's Zulu dance... grin grin grin.. Because most of y'all only know about the Zulus.

1. I'll start with Zulu, so you guys can check and compare... cheesy cheesy cheesy.. Zulu dance involves a lot of high kicks and sometimes they'd even throw themselves on the floor, if you can do high kicks, then learning the Zulu dance shouldn't be difficult... It's more like traditional aerobics.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HT7csqqsCc?si=rsqqsDzTc7OVPKHj

2. Swati.. Their dance moves are more laid back and reserved, the ladies would usually dance holding large knives and shields while the men would dance holding Spears and shields.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLuYD0wc5ug?si=TX5k4AfGyRKMIb7-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiUCOU0g2eA?si=L6OXYh5fuDBHm7zY

3. Basotho... With Sotho people, they mainly focus on moving their shoulders when dancing.. grin grin grin.. Sothos in the house, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong... Their ladies would sometimes dance while on their knees and their men would be holding long sticks.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ckW5pOAjRE?si=Vvmnw3-2RpvPxFAD

4. Xhosa... Their dance moves involve a lot of stomping on the floor/ground barefoot.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ASMJVonDl0?si=HoQ9e8RvDgncOPPS

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fc1gL9l1uP8?si=Q-FVPaWeiQPofuTf

5. Tsonga... With Tsonga dance, one has to move the waist a lot and with the ladies, they have to shake that xhibelani( traditional Tsonga skirt), apparently you're a Tsonga by mistake if you can't move your waist... grin grin grin.. Sho Modjozi's Tsonga traditional music dance would make a great example for this one.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt1EJ4SH07E?si=FSjIGRE9BZFzqM81

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jkXL_TMEig?si=UTwOdq_HHTiQoz5T

6. Batswana... I don't care what others may think, but Batswana are the best South African traditional dancers in my opinion... When they dance, they usually bend over a bit, make use of their hands a lot( especially with the ladies), make facial expressions, and stomp the floor with their creative dance steps... It's like their dance moves always have a story to tell.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va06tKKKNd8?si=W9wIPi3GDVe5ngmk

7. Sepedi tribe... With us the Pedis, we're all over the place... grin grin grin.. we do a lot of kicking, back and forth, going left and right, up and down, and running around ( if necessary) grin grin grin.. Sometimes we would lift our hands into the air like we're praying.. Our dance moves are like the contemporary dance done in a quicker pace... Sometimes we would dance in a slower and reserved pace, you just can't predict us... grin grin grin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fQm39DiSlY?si=vcAX_Z775CTWuFCu

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Cg-6Wx4g-I?si=GLpxib1ntiLIkuxd

8. Ndebele tribe... I'm not gonna lie, I don't know much about the Ndebele tribe, but their dance moves seem like a combination of the Swati and Zulu dance because their ladies' dance moves are more reserved like the Swatis while the men's dance moves involve some high kicks like the Zulus... They love blowing whistles too, I just remembered from the time I used to watch traditional music shows with my grandparents... grin grin grin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2fGk2dmMs8?si=_9-_A2eyyuCD3pjd

9. Last but not least, the Venda tribe... The Venda dance involves a lot of jumping up and down and it seems like their dance moves are a bit aggressive, but not in a bad way.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTaHLgcf4Bc?si=hkr2iGDBUcdyZRas

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CnqvDxIPgE?si=IntgrMh_1ufslYsR

My apologies to the Khoisan people in case they come across this thread, for I couldn't find any videos of their dance moves.
Wich tribe are you in south Africa did u also dance naked like this. Gosh I wish to ask did Thier boys feel anything cos as am watching it make me feel somehow. I enjoy a lot of it on YouTube

How to Make Your Husband Happy

Keeping a marriage fresh and exciting can be challenging amidst the stress of daily life. Whether you just got married or you’re approaching your fiftieth anniversary, romantic relationships take a bit of thought and preparation to stay healthy and flourishing. Thankfully, there are small things that you can do to keep your husband happy and let him know that you love him more and more each day. Remember, you know your husband the best, so don’t be afraid to mix it up a little or try something you know he’ll love.

1
Cook him his favorite dinner.[1]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 1
Does your husband love spaghetti and meatballs, or is he a dessert kind of guy? Whatever his favorite food is, try whipping it up when he’s had a hard day or you just want to show your appreciation for him.
The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, after all.
If you aren’t sure what to make, whip out a recipe book and try something you’ve never had before. You might just discover your new favorite dish!
Little things like this can let him know you’re thinking of him without a ton of effort.
2
Put on a sexy outfit.[2]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 2
Flannel pajamas are cute, but what about some lingerie or some see-through undies? You can really rev his engine by prepping yourself for the bedroom.
There are tons of places to buy sexy outfits online, or you can visit an adult store in-person.
Make sure he’s in the mood before you change into your outfit—if he’s tired or grumpy, he might not fully appreciate the effort.
3
Spice up your sex life.[3]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 3
No matter how long you’ve been together, sex is a huge part of romantic relationships. If you’re bored of your sex life as it is now, try spicing it up with something fresh. This doesn’t necessarily mean you have to run out and purchase a toy for the bedroom—it can be as simple as having sex in the morning when you usually have sex at night, trying sex in a different room than usual, or getting a little playful in the bedroom if you’re normally super serious.
If you aren’t sure what to try, ask him! You two can talk about some fun things to do together as a couple.
4
Give him a massage.[4]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 4
Everyone likes a good shoulder rub after a tough day, and your husband is no exception. Sit him down, grab a bottle of lotion, and get to massaging his back, shoulders, and even his feet!
To make it a sensual massage, dim the lights and light some candles to set the mood.
Massages from a licensed massage therapist can be expensive, so a DIY one will show your love for him without breaking the bank. It’s a win-win!
5
Cook him breakfast in bed.[5]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 5
Lazy Saturday mornings can only be improved by eating pancakes while cuddling in bed. Tell him to stay nestled in the blankets while you whip up a little breakfast and coffee. Put it on a tray for some specialized room service to make him feel great.
Stick to solid foods for breakfast in bed. Cereal and oatmeal are both delicious, but they have a tendency to spill—and when you’re eating over your pillow, that’s not something either of you want to deal with.
6
Grab a few gifts for him while you’re out.[6]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 6
If you’re ever out shopping and spy an item that your husband would love, grab it! Surprise gifts are always welcome, and they’ll brighten his day no matter what.
The gifts don’t have to be huge or expensive. Candy, hats, T-shirts, underwear, or even some fun socks all show that you care about him.
7
Be a good listener.[7]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 7
There are tons of distractions vying for your attention on a day to day basis. However, when your husband has something to say, you should give him your full attention. Think about how you’d like to be listened to when you talk, then do the same.[8] You can lead by example for a happier, healthier partnership.
Turn off the TV, put down your phone, and turn to look at him when he talks. Ask follow-up questions to show that you’re really listening, and add to the conversation, if you can.
For example, you could say something like, “That’s so interesting. Tell me more!” Or, “I bet that made you feel weird, huh?”
8
Say “Hi” and “Goodbye” to your husband.[9]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 8
It may not sound like much, but greetings can make a huge difference. This will reassure him that you like spending time with him, and it lets him look forward to when you get to see each other again.[10]
When you get home from work, greet your husband enthusiastically with a long kiss.
When it’s time for one of you to leave, give him a hug and tell him you’re looking forward to seeing him later.
9
Schedule a weekly date night.[11]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 9
It’s easy to get lost in work, kids, and responsibilities. However, date nights can let you reconnect as a couple and catch up with each other as partners, not as parents or managers of your household.
Try to do a date night at least once a week where you can go out to dinner or sit down for a meal just the two of you.
Maybe you two can take turns on coming up with date suggestions so you don’t feel bogged down with the responsibility.
10
Try new things together.[12]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 10
Branching out to try new things is always fun, especially with your husband. Think of a few activities you’ve never done (either on your own or separately), then make a plan to try some of them out.
You could go snowboarding, jet skiing, fishing, wine tasting, or even snorkeling.
You might even find a new activity that you two can do together on a regular basis!
You can incorporate these new activities into your date nights, too.
11
Compliment your husband often.[13]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 11
Men usually don’t get a lot of compliments, so they tend to remember them more. If your husband is looking cute today, did something sweet for you, or you’re just feeling plain lucky, give him a quick compliment to let him know you’re thinking about him.[14]
Even just a quick, “You look nice today babe” is a great confidence-booster.
12
Take over his chores if he had a bad day.[15]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 12
Sometimes the day is extra tough, and your husband might be extra grumpy. To make him feel a little better, take over his chores or responsibilities, if you can. This doesn’t have to be an everyday thing, but it can make a hard day a little bit better.
If he normally cooks, take over for the night. If he usually folds the laundry, do it for him so he doesn’t have to worry about it.
Then, whenever you have a bad day, you might be able to ask him to take over your chores for the night. It’s a win-win situation!
13
Support your husband in trying new things.[16]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 13
You may notice your husband change and grow the longer you’re together. If you notice your husband getting into a new hobby, career path, or professional field, let him know that you have his back and you’ll support him no matter what.
You can show an interest in his new hobby or job by asking questions and listening to him intently when he tells you about it.
Not having the support of your partner can make trying something new even more difficult, so it’s important to lift your husband up as he branches out.
If he’s trying something new that you’re interested in, see if you can join in too.
14
Bring up problems directly.[17]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 14
Communication is a key factor in any relationship, but it’s ultra important in romantic ones. If you’re having issues with your relationship, sit down with your husband and talk. It can be scary to talk about your issues, so try facing the problem head on.[18]
For example, “Hey babe, can we talk? I wanted to have a conversation about keeping the house clean throughout the week.”
Then, use “I” statements, like, “When the house is dirty, I feel stressed out. Could we work on that together?”
15
Work on solving problems together.[19]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 15
Every couple argues from time to time, and it’s healthy to work out your disagreements. However, if every argument leads to a yelling blowout, your problems might not be getting solved very effectively.
Try to work through problems with an “us vs. the problem” mentality, not “you vs. your husband.”
For example, maybe you feel like you’ve been doing all the housework. You can tell your husband how you feel by saying, “I think I’ve been taking on more responsibility around the house. Could we maybe set up a chore chart to divvy up the jobs evenly?”
16
Don’t forget to make time for yourself.[20]
Image titled Make Your Husband Happy Step 16
Being a good partner also means taking care of your own needs. Make sure you’re eating well, practicing good hygiene, exercising regularly, and keeping a positive attitude. If you’re happy, your husband will be happy too!
Plus, getting some alone time is beneficial for both of you.

Politics / Re: Do Governments In Chad & Niger Also Organize Mass Weddings For Their People? by jaksmillioniar: 2:00pm On Oct 15, 2023
MrEverest:
Something curious always happens in the Muslim parts of Northern Nigeria. They have what is called almajiri system that effectively keeps over 10 million children out of school, hungry and destitute.

Also, they're always organizing mass weddings for their people. Whatever they hope to achieve with this, or how this became their major priority is what most sane people can't understand. However, I will like to know if things like this also happen in Chad, Niger, Mali or Burkina Faso? These countries are all Muslim nations and they share lots of similarities with Northern Muslims.

Do governors or president of Chad, Niger etc also organize mass weddings for their people?
why do u ibo hate good thing

People who can't afford wedding have been given license to produce children... If they can't afford wedding how can they afford child care

I think dey should use condom for sex. If govt can reduce age of marriage in south to 16 or 15 it will stop abortion and abandon baby.In north u never see all this rubbish. If d girls can hold body dey should get married as most are hungry for sex at dat age. Govt should educate

beekind:
I am in my mid 30s, very comfortable and a dual citizen of Nigeria and a first world country.
I decided to relocate back to Nigeria because of starting a family and having my own children.
Since arriving the country and based on my experiences so far, my plans have changed.

I decided to first focus on having children as I found out that the Nigerian society has become almost worse than the west in terms of sexual debauchery.
People have sex for indomine, girls commit abortion without remorse, the worst thing is that no one here uses protection and by the time your average Nigerian girl reaches 30 years old, she has aborted 4 times, slept with almost 100 men and contacted several stds in the process.

What this means is that disciplined men like me are left with these category of girls, worst still is that they come very entitled and empty and can even ruin you with their lifestyle as they are usually impossible to reform.

Solution:
I had to go back to the drawing board and re-evaluated my plan, I have an ex-girlfriend (29 years old) whom I am very close with. She fits the bill in terms of who I want as a life partner but she is a single mother.
So I gave her a choice.

Have 2 children for me, those 2 children will automatically become dual citizens and I might consider marrying you and adopting your child but even if I don't marry you, your 2 children that you have by me will be taken care of and being dual citizens of a developed country they can turn to a blessing for you and your whole family in future.

Now, let me explain, I still love this lady and my decision was premised on how uncertain I am of what my choice will be in the future as such I wanted to be very open from the beginning, but even at this point, I can not guarantee I will marry her but I could depending on what happens in future.

She's going to give me a feedback later and I am quite positive she will take the offer.

If it were you faced with this option, what would you do ?
are u saying if a girl born for u she became a citizens
