Yes now. You can not be a "ministering" Minister and be campaigning to be a governor at the same time. At the end, you will not minister well and you will not campaign well. So, any minister that has governorship aspirations should honorably tender resignation letter. You can not eat your cake and have it. One has to lose one thing to gain the other.

OP, having read your post I feel your caption was off-target or may I say has political undertone to malign the person of Gov Okorocha. Or does OGWA refer to the whole of IMO STATE? It is not good to copy and paste an ancient article which does not reflect the current state of things especially when the performance rating of the incumbent leader is being assessed.

Conscience: The most stolen item by Nigerians. Tell me why a man who prays to Allah, 5 times a day will steal or take bribes. Tell me why a man who goes to church every sunday to pray officially will siphon money under his care.
Truth: Truth and conscience are twin brothers. If conscience is stolen, truth too will die a natural death. Have you not heard about governors of some states in Nigeria tell you that the state is broke yet the same governor will be building his personal mansions and hotels in Abuja and with a personal account fatter than that of the state he is ruling.

This is a sign of failed leadership in Nigeria.

Why should those who boast themselves as elites and leaders hide in ARMOURED VEHICLES for the fear of the people they are leading? Surely, many things have gone wrong and these leaders know full well that all is not well!

Therefore, every leader in Nigeria who is not performing his leadership role well should honorably resign and stop hiding in armoured vehicles.

I personally do not like leaders moving in coffins in the name of armoured cars.
