Anywhere can be safe,it all depend on where you really want to live.
people live,work and survive in Ajegunle,Mushin,Oshodi and other place's termed high risk by some other
people.
I have lived in Ikoyi for 12yrs and yes robbers do come here and V/I too!
The only difference is that here they are either oppurtunistic robbers or killers after someone for some deals
gone wrong or on internal info as is the situation in some case's here.
Just be careful about how you let people know when you are landing from overseas;especially those that might
happen to work with you,unless of course when they've gained your trust.
Am an estate salesman and people usually are concerned about they and their family's safety.
I suggest from long experience for you to live in Ikoyi and in Ikoyi,Park-view estate.

A good way to make a fortune is to buy a lottery,though the sure fire way
is to buy property when it is cheap:almost free and when no one had
noticed or people don't seem to believe in it.and sell when it is crazily
expensive(like the case of park-view)and make an equally crazy and
unbelivable profit.Mowe and Ofada are sure profit givers.though on the
long term:because it is far flung from the metropolis.But that can not be
said of Ogombo,near Ajah where acres are selling for unbelievable cheap
sums.the free-way is been expanded because of population explosion in
the peninsular,not to forget the free trade zone starting up soon.
And the fact that thousands moved there with FG's selling off its land-
holdings in the rest of Lagos.land will only appreciate here and fast too.
