Good day Nairaland family, My name is James Blessings Ifeoma, a Nigerian researcher— in advanced discussions with international supervisors" —across New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the United States of America. My research focuses on the phytochemical quality, antimicrobial properties, and ecological determinants of Nigerian forest honey across three ecological zones — the tropical rainforest, the derived savannah, and the guinea savannah. I am currently in the process of securing PhD admission and building a strong network of Nigerian beekeeping partners who will collaborate with me once my research officially commences. I am therefore inviting interested beekeepers and organizations to register their interest now so we can begin building our research partnership ahead of time. I am looking to connect with: ✅ Beekeepers and apiary owners across Nigeria ✅ Beekeeping associations and cooperatives ✅ Honey producers in forest, savannah, and farmland zones ✅ Anyone involved in apiculture across any Nigerian state PLANNED SAMPLE COLLECTION SCHEDULE: Once PhD admission is confirmed and ethics approval obtained: 🌧️ Seasons Wet season 2027 Dry season 2027 What participation will involve: • Providing small honey samples (approximately 500ml) from your apiary during each collection season • Sharing basic information about your location, hive type, and local plant environment • Serving as a valued research partner in an internationally supervised PhD study What you will get in return: • All research findings about your specific honey shared with you personally • Your apiary formally acknowledged in published international scientific papers • Your honey scientifically characterized at international standard — completely free of charge • Direct contribution to the first ever Nigerian honey quality certification framework • Zero cost to you at any stage This research will generate the first internationally recognized scientific quality profile of Nigerian forest honey — increasing the market value of Nigerian honey and opening premium international markets for Nigerian beekeepers. If you are interested in being part of this historic research — or know anyone who keeps bees anywhere in Nigeria — please register your interest by contacting me today: 📧 ifyjacon2018@gmail.com 📞 +234 703 898 8558 (WhatsApp available) No commitment is required at this stage — just your name, location, and contact details so we can stay in touch as the research progresses. Together we can put Nigerian honey on the world map! 🍯🇳🇬 James Blessings Ifeoma PhD Researcher — Nigerian Forest Honey ifyjacon2018@gmail.com | +234 703 898 8558 |
