When Gowon returned to Nigeria, he realised that the agreement he signed did not favour him and his fellow Northerners. So he reneged on that agreement, which made Ojukwu declare Biafra


The narrative has not changed even today. The North does not want restructuring so if you want, you have to to do what Ojukwu did over 50 years ago and go for Biafra(This time with taking up arms)


But as long as you are with the North in 'one Nigeria', you better forget restructuring because they will never allow it.
