DEAR GOVERNOR WIKE,

We want to use this medium to thank you for the numerous project you are executing in River State. We want to also draw your attention to remember Oyigbo LGA which the only road we have is in a deplorable state. You can recall you promised to duallize the road from Oyigbo Express Junction down to Afam during your campaign time. We aw a post on Facebook that you are Governor to Portharcourt and Obio Akpo LGAs in Rivers State but we can not accept this as we have reason to believe that you will extend your presence to Oyigbo.

Please sir, Help us as we are really suffering. A journey of 30 mins to PHC has now become a 2 hours journey.

We hope to see you in action before 2017 Runs out. Remember Oyigbo is populated and be rest assured we will all vote in 2019.

Please help us for we are dying daily

We have observed over time the illegal continuous blinkering activities in Curve Area of Obeama Town in Oyigbo LGA Rivers State. There is an illegal refinery along the pipe line area at the back of Army Camp in Obeama town in Oyigbo where they continue to be cooking crude oil between 12am and 5am in the morning. Since January, we have not been able to sleep at night because of the hazardous nature of the contaminated air that we inhales. When we cough we cough out black substances in our catarrh. Our lungs and respiratory tracks have been painful and affected. We are spending money at the Pharmacies and hospital. Our people are dying day by day. Our house roofs, floors and seats are coated with black substance. We are tired of this. We are using this medium to call on the Rivers State Government and the Federal Government and security operatives to intervene to save our lives.

We are calling on Governor Wike and the security operatives in Rivers State to swing into action immediately to avoid further damages.
