Amber Rose has come out to defend her friend turned sister, Blac Chyna in an interview with Complex's Everyday Struggle, following the former dancer's drama with her second baby daddy Rob Kardashian and his revenge porn rant on social media.

Speaking in her defense, Amber said; "Chyna is an amazing person and mom. She's an amazing person, she's extremely loving. I was around when her and Rob first met, and I'll tell you first hand that they very much loved each other. I watched it. They both wanted to have Dream. It wasn't a mistake. It wasn't an entrapment. It wasn't anything like that. You know, people look at Chyna and they just go, "Oh she got Rob's everything, she's taking Rob's money."

She's not that type of person, and neither am I. We're not out trying to finesse mother fuckers. People fail to realize me and Chyna got money, we're straight. I remember when her and Rob met, how they fell in love and how happy they were. They're just not happy anymore. That's life, it just happens," Amber further insisted..

On Rob releasing the revenge pron that Chyna admitted sending to him, Amber said; "That's some sucker ass shit. That's some fuckboy ass shit. You don't do that. Rob should have been a mature adult and had a conversation with Chyna. He didn't have to go on the internet and be petty. You have to grow up and handle your business properly."

14 year old Aisha Isah pictured above, has been arrested by the Niger state police command for allegedly killing her 40 year old husband, Isiaka Usman, who she got married to 5 months ago. According to the Northern City News, Aisha allegedly used a pestle to hit her husband which led to his death at their home in Lifari Village in the Mashegu Local Government Area of the state. The teenager had been complaining to her family members that since she moved into her deceased husband's house, he had not provided her with money to eat or for her upkeep and that whenever she asked for money to eat, he would ask her to go and eat at her parent's house.

On the day of the incident, Aisha had asked her husband for money to eat since he had not given her with food for two days and the two of them got into an argument. According to reports, he slapped her and in anger, Aisha picked up the pestle in their kitchen and hit him on the head with it. He collapsed and was rushed to the Mashegu hospital where he later died.

Aisha says she regrets her action as it was never her intention to kill her husband.

The state police command says Aisha would be tried in the Juvenille court...

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) has denied claims made by the Senate that 42 anti-malaria drugs that have been banned in Europe have been shipped to Nigeria and are currently being used in some hospitals and also sold in some pharmacies. The Senate made the allegation during plenary last week.

Acting DG of NAFDAC, Yetunde Oni, at a news conference in Lagos yesterday, said the senate's claims were unfounded. Speaking to newsmen at the conference, Oni said

" Artemisinin Combination Therapies (ACTs) are currently used in malaria endemic countries like Nigeria. There are no killer antimalarial medicines in Nigeria and it is important that you convey this message to the already agitated members of the public to avoid unnecessary panic". "The main objective of this press conference is to douse the tension and correct the misinformation on the social and mainstream media about the Forty Two (42) Antimalarial medicines purportedly banned by the European Union but allegedly circulating in the country.

It is pertinent to mention that the allegedly banned antimalarial medicines are oral monotherapies containing single Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) such as;
• Artesunate as contained in Arinate Tablet
• Amodiaquine as contained in Camoquine
• Dihydroartemisinin contained in Alaxin Tablet
• Pyrimethamine contained in Daraprim Tablet


I wish to state categorically that these antimalarial monotherapies are not recommended for treatment of malaria in Nigeria. The recommended antimalarial medicines for treatment of malaria in Nigeria are ARTEMISININ COMBINATION THERAPIES (ACTs)

The use of Artemisinin Combination Therapies (ACTs) in the treatment of malaria is in line with the Guidelines for the Treatment of Malaria, 3rd edition, World Health Organization 2015, Geneva Switzerland. The Nigeria National Treatment Policy, February 2005 supports the use of ARTEMISININ COMBINATION THERAPIES.
Sulphadoxine Pyrimethamine (SP) is also a combination antimalarial medicine recommended by both the World Health Organization and the Nigeria National Anti-Malarial Treatment Policy for INTERMITTENT PREVENTIVE TREATMENT (IPT) of malaria.

In line with the recommendation of the Nigeria National Antimalarial Treatment Policy 2005 and the WHO Guidelines for Treatment of Malaria 2015, NAFDAC stopped registration of antimalarial monotherapies. The Agency in collaboration with United States Pharmacopeia (USP) carried out a survey on the quality of antimalarial medicines in 2015. The report of the survey was presented to stakeholders on 11th August 2015 and it was revealed that 3.6% of the nine hundred (900) samples of antimalarial medicines procured from six (6) geopolitical zones of the country failed quality test while 96.4% passed.

Antimalarial monotherapies in the distribution chain were captured during the survey to enable the Agency mop them from circulation. NAFDAC Zonal coordinators were directed to conduct surveillance and mop up activities. This exercise has been sustained to ensure that the incidence of oral antimalarial monotherapies is brought to the barest minimum.

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen of the press, you may wish to know that Artemisinin Combination Therapies (ACTs) are currently used in malaria endemic countries like Nigeria. There are no killer antimalarial medicines in Nigeria and it is important that you convey this message to the already agitated members of the public to avoid unnecessary panic.

I use this opportunity to reiterate our determination to continue to ensure access of Nigerians to safe and efficacious medicines and wholesome regulated products.

Nine passengers including a baby were involved in a fatal accident involving a 14-seater commercial bus at Egbeda area of Lagos on Thursday, July 20th.
