A Nigerian man was stripped naked and beaten up by a group of fellow Nigerians who caught him trying to rob their home in Negeri Sembilan area of Malaysia.

In the video posted by an Italy-based Nigerian , the alleged thief was asked how he got entrance into the home and he replied saying that he initially came to beg for his house rent. When he got to the house, he saw that the door wasn't locked and that was when he decided to steal their valuables.

Kim Kardashian's recent cover shoot for Interview magazine's September issue has sparked outrage for at least two reasons.

Kim appeared on the cover and inside photos with her daughter North West, where she channeled former US First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Photographer Steven Klein said his goal was to "capture feminine beauty as an expression of empowerment and self-respect. Also, to highlight Kim in a chic manner that is retrospective of a time and yet modern." Kim was ecstatic about the cover and said she will "treasure this shoot forever."

After the photos were made public, social media criticised both the magazine and Kim. They accused the magazine of darkening Kim's complexion to match the shade of her daughter's skin tone. They also said it was insulting for Kim to impersonate Jackie O.

Nigerian Senate has warned the sponsors and participants organising the #OurMumuDonDo protests demanding for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari over his medical vacation in the United Kingdom to stop heating up the polity with their unreasonable demands.



In a statement signed by the senate spokesman, Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, the Senate said the protesters were only creating unnecessary tension in the country and seeking to divert the attention of the Presidency from the economic and security issues which are being tackled with vigour.



'The President has broken no law and therefore we do not see any justification for this diversion and noise making. The sponsors are merely seeking cheap publicity at the expense of the peace of Nigeria. We, in the National Assembly, are satisfied that there is no vacuum. The Federal Government is working. Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is providing the required leadership. So, there is no reason for the protests' the statement reads.



'All Nigerians now should focus on praying for the safe return of the President. We in the Senate are happy about the report by the Governors and party leaders who recently visited President Buhari in London and we know he will soon return to continue to provide leadership to our people and the rest of Africa. “We therefore call on the protesters to stop all these demonstrations and let their sense of patriotism overshadow the zeal for activism by joining other Nigerians to pray for the President, the acting President and Nigeria as a country at this critical period', Abdullahi stated.

North Korea continues to create tension with its continuous tests of nuclear weapons and now the country has hailed as a success its latest test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), describing it as a "stern warning" for the US.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said the test proved that the entire US was within striking range, state media reported. Confirming the latest launch, the North said the ICBM flew for just over 47 minutes and reached an altitude of 3,724km (2,300 miles).

The Korean Central News Agency says, 'the leader said proudly the test also confirmed all the US mainland is within our striking range".

According to Melissa Hanham, Senior Research Associate in the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, 'North Korea's latest ICBM test went farther and higher than their previous 3 July test, meaning that they may be able to strike even deeper into the heartland of the United States than initially assessed'.
