abdul4moti: He said that we should be prayerful, when I asked if it will be release in this month he said probably, I am telling u guys, no body can predict when, secrecy is vital in the military. Hmmmm! that prayerful aspect is kinda confusing o!! Is there something no one knows abt that may affect the training. Maybe the recession. Well God knows better. |

abdul4moti: I have his number but I don't think he knows when, is not the board members responsibility to release it. They finished their work and submitted to MS long ago, one of the member of the board said he wonder why it was not released two weeks back, (the Chaplain among them dssc , a Lt Colonel too). That the board President had defended it long ago. If he doesn't know he may know who to call or at least heard something relieving. Guys we need to hear or confirm that November commencement date o. Pls just try and ask him. There's no harm in trying. As the board secretary he may have something vital for us. |

skykenny: Prospective officers! I knw expectations are really very high now. But that will be settled in few days to come. Abeg someone should clarify me on this. I learnt that 3 candidates are always reserved per state outside the stipulated 8 candidates for ssc (just a rumour) . I was also told that a presidential list even exist. Please how true can this be? No reserve for SSC and abt the presidential list, I've never heard of a thing like that. |

Heatup47: If your state candidates were less than the required 8 which they need that faced d board. It is automatic but if it is more, pray heard that if for anything your name should be used to supplement other states from your region which was not complete. For SSC. Hmmm, let's wait and see. |

Slexd: jst came accross dis nw,it may calm some bp jammy n odas.jst do ur calculations.wit dis i blieve intake will increase this year.PA Photos The Nigerian Army will expand its current size of just over 100,000 to 209,000 in the next 8 yrs, Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai announced during a speech at the National Defence College on 13 January. As part of this expansion plan, a new 8th Division has already been established in northeast Nigeria, the 6th Division will be established in the South-South region, which covers the Niger Delta, and 12,000 personnel will be recruited in 2016, Lt Gen Buratai said. "We will continue the phased implementation of our order of battle in order to enhance our posture to adequately respond to threats. As you are aware, 8th Division has just been established in the northeast and 6th Division will follow shortly in the South-South," he said. "These expansions will go hand-in-hand with doctrinal review and the development of new strategies to perform our constitutional role." He said that the Nigerian Army currently has over 6,000 officers and 96,000 soldiers and that the 'Order of Battle 2010' plan called for this to grow to 18,966 officers and more than 190,000 soldiers. Jan to now far o, a lot must have changed. But let's be optimistic sha. I pray its the case. |
