the vfs page for this sint working properly, ive been trying to book an appointment since saturday but ut keeps bouncing here and the vpn isnt the problem

Check the email the scammer emailed you with and compare it with his own, that same person that mailed you also sent me a mail which I ignored, I did not even bother to open it the moment I saw the heading.
