When I tried starting it told me not supported sim.

u must be using a customized firmware, try another huawei dashboard, like mtn e303 interface, see if it prompts 4 unlocking code, also try other code writer, check previous links I posted, u can also paste a dcunlocker log here

i have tried all this and still wouldn't work.
i updated the firmware from the factory made one to .864 and input the code given out by Damola on the tenth attempt to unlock and ever since then lost Network and now its not even been recognized by PC as hard ware but the dashboard launches even on a system it has never been used.

If you can get the modem driver installed, you can try unlock counter resetter.

Please give a detail method you used while unlocking your modem, have you also tried uninstalling the dashboard and reinstalling back, have u tried to restore your system back to earlier time d modem worked, possible that d modem driver has been messed up.
