ninovandross:if you commit suicide, the money is still to be repaid - do you have family ? The family might be responsible for the debt, legally or otherwise. |
where does one go for charity medical care on Lagos |
How do I find the phone number ?? Why is it so difficult ?? |
obamd:I am afraid it is . His accusation now is 'you don't trust me.' |
[quote author=optm post=54665342]oh sorry....don't you have contacts of any of his relatives? you can try using his social media account on Facebook to get a clue on someone he is close to......but use your discretion if you are to do this. best of luck [/quote he says he has no extended family . My discretion is clouded by a his plea. I want to help if I can verify the phone number and speak to someone at the facility. All I have are texts and a phone number for a personal mobile phone to a doctor Obasi. The amount is 450,000 nira. Sorry for misspelling. |
optm:I have googled it every possible way. Nothing shows up. I have googled the doctor, the clinic, the name 'Noba', 'Nova' , - nothing shows up. Frustrating to have someone I love like a son in need of medical care and he was told the doctor/clinic wants a deposit before treating him. Thank you for responding. I am grateful. |
I am american - my name is Jolene. I have had a young man from Nigeria in my home for 2 years. He returned to Lagos in August of 2016. He is very ill from a football injury he suffered on the field a month ago. He is at Noba Clinic in Portharcourt I am told. Dr. Obasi is his physician. The phone number I was given by a 'friend' does not ring - only busy. Can anyone tell me if there is a Noba Clinic in Portharcourt ? I was told the young man is seriously ill. I recently paid for a surgery. Thank you for any information you can provide - Jolene |
I am American. I would like to know the differences between hospitals in the USA and Lagos, Nigeria. Does someone in Lagos have to pay upfront to have a surgical procedure done ? Can someone 16 or 17 schedule a surgery without guardian or parental consent ? Would the hospital require a 'next of kin' notification on record ? I will be grateful for your answers. - Jiiveshi |
