Rukky's dad (Debbie's uncle) is soooo cool. Wish my dad was cool like that. Very nice & friendly man. He's a music director himself. I like d way he spoke to them.

Eyaa Daniella it is well my dear. Everyone isn't comfortable discussing family finances esp on National TV so I totally understand. She didn't chase her dad away.

Overall it was a very wonderful episode. Those of U who missed it shld go to YouTube. That's how I follow d show.

While its true that some performers will sing any genre of music well, eg Omawumni, it doesn't mean that that's what is required of every performer. Ok imagine our dear Asa singing 'park, baby o pullover'. And Daniella doesn't sound terrible singin naija songs sef, its just that she's at home wit RnB

Daniella's problem is she cant dance and use the stage well. Also she doesn't try to connect with d audience or let d audience in, in her performance. She's d type of person that likes to stand in 1 place frm start to finish.

Well, it all depends on our environ. Even in some churches, you won't be admitted in the Choir without proven skills on atleast 2 instruments.

I've lived among instrumentalists/musicologists, so it may not apply to all; but I've seen people who handle 4-6 major instruments. Infact one of them lectures here in SouthWest; while another, a lecturer and a band leader in AUN Yola.

Have you tried trumpet? Also, I'm sure you know drummers 'get level'? I play drum as well, but I always respect myself each time I land in the midst of DRUMMERS

I celebrate Ugo because he made it to this level; but the skill is an everyday thing in Nigeria (no hating).

Well as far as this competition goes, he cant drum & sing or play trumpet & sing at d same time so we can't say. He may also be a drummer who knows? Since its a 'Singing' competition those 2 are the best instruments he can work with. I attended piano lessons when I was younger so I know its not beans. I ran away when I couldn't keep up lol.

As for the instrumentalist part, there are wayyy tooo many instrumentalists; ugo would only end up eating the left-overs in that line. There is really nothing to WOW about in playing both guitar & keyboard - not in this dispensation. I'd love to see him prove the same skill on drums and wind intruments.

Speaking of Ugo I bet y'all never knew he's worked with Vector before. Uhmm.. I found a video of him last month on YouTube while just browsing thru Ndani sessions. Apparently Ugo was d one who played d guitar and sang d chorus in Vector's 'Popular' song.

Search for Vector on Ndani tv on YouTube and check it out. The guy is talented and no1 can take that from him sha.

I missed yesterday's show Bt Debbie has a lot to learn. I think her voice and Oge's have d same problem. When they hit high notes, it goes shrill. Also d duet issue. In d academy Uncle Ben doesn't pair up friends with each other.
I remember Season 5 Marvellous & Ella (Wildcard) didn't like each other cos of a couple of arguments but they were paired together and guess what? It was such a beautiful performance. D chemistry, singing and all was intact. That is being professional and that is what a performer should do.
Like I said in my last post. If they like make Dem f'k up. Its better for d final 5.

Its even good Debbie and Ugo were grouped together. They're both the weakest link so maybe they will mess up and be kicked out. That's good for me. Gives more space for my Christian, Jeffrey and Rukky

D reason y Uncle Ben brought it up was cos of what Ugo said @ d radio station. Uncle Ben said he heard it on d radio and needed to address it. I don't blame Ugo, Emeka or Clement for voting Daniella. At d end of d day it is a competition and sm1 must leave for another to stay.
Ugo should have kept his mouth shut and not blame his poor performance on Shola. If u failed, u failed. Why blame Shola? Its ur biz if u didn't vote for him & call him ur friend. After all, Shola didn't vote for Debbie when she needed him so, its a cold world. Maybe Shola got paid back there.

I don't know but frm what I noticed btwn yesterday and today, Geoffrey has gotten proud somehow. He is relying on his voice and faculty & judges to save him. It is d humble person that pple like and will vote oh. That's why Emeka is a likely winner.

Its a tie for me btwn Christian and Geoffrey Christian absolutely amazed me I had to watch his twice I enjoyed everyone's performance today except Ugo & Rukky. Rukky tried but that song is hard to do cos it has a lot of dancing. Performance-wise she tried but her voice wasn't all that for d song.

Maybe u never watched previous sets of PFame. If u did, u will know that those to be put on probation r hand picked by d judges and then audience vote. Its after then, that d issue of least number of votes come to play.

U can call my 2nd & 3rd point invalid but yesterday was d last elimination night & they've already started working with Cobhams on personal composition. What does that tell you?
Personal compositions r d last part of d competition and they usually performed twice by d contestants. MTN has indirectly told us its a wrap!

Since d competition is gradually coming to an end, lemme just state my opinion about 2014 Project fame
1. Contestants voices r below par compared to previous sets. Save for Jeff, Florish, Kofo & maybe David.
2. Why haven't they sang Duets?
3. How about songs of evergreen Nigerian musicians like Sunny Ade, Oyenka Owenu, Ebenezer Obey etc that they normally do every year? Where is that?
4. Why last 8 standing and not 6 or @least 7? Debbie should be weeded out at dis stage cos she will be splitting d votes of others
5. Voting system is fk'd up. Y MTN didn't follow d normal way of placing poor contestants on probation is beyond me. This will affect d final result. Cos @ d end of d day, d wrong person may go home with d prize, D weak voices and below-par performers may go home with smthing leaving d real talents and hard workers with nothing.

To me, I've been waiting for Shola's exit since d day he refused to vote for Debbie when she was on probation. That was painful to me. He voted that sluggish Lami instead. I wish Debbie knew Shola didn't vote her on that day. And Debbie always saves and helps Shola even all d while he was stuck on Lami

She isn't my favorite contestant but it looks like she's a true friend/girlfriend. I dislike Shola's sneaky behavior btwn Lami & Debbie. He lost my support ever since.
