Yusuph should definitely be amongst the last standing but he can't win the show. You should have known PF by now: most appealing peeps that would best rep wins & Yusuph aint got that...same thing happened to Omolayo(been a farmer/Rearer), Emekus(been local & uncivilized), Dehinde(having a more appealing rivalry(Jeff). Well in PF the unexpected happens & the end might just turn out differently however since PF is now a business venture, the outcome should follow the usual script.

That Omolayo's own pained me Kai!! I was praying he would come 2nd at least. He was so good & had the best falsetto in that set he goes there & comes back effortlessly.
Yusuf's case may end up like Dehinde. Fans will push him to the final with votes but he might not win anything.

Winner that have not prove herself as at last two weeks has enough fans to convince the judges to call her back.

Project fame have set the wrong precedent since last season.

If they are going to stick to everyone Going on probation then No one should be call back.

Hmm good point in your last statement. I think that's the point I have been looking for. They should probe individually from beginning to end OR change the policy to let the public know it is now an "EVERYBODY ON PROBATION" show like the Voice or Idols & co. therefore no one will be called back.
The power of call back has more value & makes more sense when that talent is really good but didn't have enough votes among 2/3 others. As opposed to calling him back on a full general voting show among 12/13 other contestants.

All in all, PF really needs to check their mission statement. "Do we want to produce the best talent truly? Or are we just here to make money?"

Well, I guess Kitay can enjoy his babe this week since both of them are safe

You've missed the point. It's not about votes it's about money. If it was truly about votes, the judges would've done their job to put some pple on probation. After that, then we can talk about votes. They knew best & worst from last Sunday, kept quiet and went ahead to place everyone in the same boat. Leaving the fans to do their job for them in the spirit of making money. If they didn't abandon their #1 duty of placing the right pple on probation, I doubt we would get this much outrage.

If it was a full fans voting show from beginning to end, then I guess no 1 will complain cos idols, Naija sings & some others are run like that.

My dear MTN dropped their high standard & credibility at the end of season 7. They became a money making machine from Last year till now. I think it's now safe to say fans should look for another music talent show that is actually based on "Talent".

I think I'll do that too. Cos over the years I don't watch any other music talent show besides PF. Believing that they are the best and have the highest standard with their training and all. But sadly, they proved me wrong this year. All because of money SMH.

All u said GBAM! They've ruined this season for us. I'm no longer interested. The only way PF can interest me now is if the judges pick contestants on probation from now till the end. That stupid thing of everybody on probation has to stop. They have to do their job.

We have more mediocre performances in the house now than people who actually came for business.

The only people left in the house now that deserve Top 5 are:
Kitay, Okiemute, Pere, Eli, (Gab & Steve were here)

The rest are fucking mediocre blowing hot/cold every weekend
Winner, Oluchi, Lizzy, Dapo, Mirabel, Yusuf

**Note** This is based on general cumulative performance & not just Naija hits weekend to chop money from viewers which is their comfort zone)

That's what happens when the judges abandon their duty and place 12 people in the hands of the public. It was obvious we were gonna loose quality singers. Steve & Gabriel don't even fall into probation category on a normal day #Sad

I believed in Winners voice at d beginning of the show but at this point she's a waste of slot. I will even take Yusuf in b4 her at least he's flexible & learning faster. Oluchi too is another mess up.
Steve & Gabriel have better performances and have come out of their shell doing good in d competition while those 2 haven't.

Exactly what I said about Kitay's performance last week. Praiz said (and I agree that) the song was a bad choice and some of you guys were displeased by this observation. Kitay did the rock song to the best of his ability but it was not amazing. Cos the song just couldn't bring out the best in him. If Dapo does this song his own way, those who don't know his true ability may not see the effort he put into it.

Song choice matters. It will be very interesting to see what he will do with this street song. I wish him best of luck.

I guess what he will have to do is like Kitay, give us his singing ability/ voice quality in the song instead of just talking all through because in his defence, its more a rap/talking song. If he can be creative with it and sing that will be nice.

Ghanaians don't vote for Project fame it's not news. Unfortunately this happens every year. It's sad. I wasn't ready to see Steve or Gabriel leave yet.

And by the way, I hate the song given to Dapo this week. (Lil Kesh Is it because I love you) Not fair. They should've have given him a song that will actually showcase his voice.
Like even Yusuf was given a song that will bring out his voice & he was really singing during rehearsals yesterday I was happy 4 him. It'll be good if he will calm down and sing like that this weekend

Samhay and luvmijeje both ve gd points and I agree wit u both. I knw nbd has given a crazy per4mance snce dis season begun like Geoffrey or christain did, but I think dey still ve tym yet for dat. D beauty lata will b in watching hw dey ve all grown from their former timid selves.
I still believe Christain was a rare breed. He was on probation almost every time and he still got to finals and won sth because he gave his all and delivered dope per4mances every tym.
Coming to season 8, I dnt ve much to say abt dat because I hated d way d season ended tho I'm glad Anderson didn't go home empty

This season, too many talented pple re in d academy. Different type of voices wit different strengths but d problem is none ve used up to 70% of wat I think dey ve to give. Even okiemute and kitay still ve alot to gv in terms of performances. If dey all loosen up and free dem selves, dis season ve d potential of bn 1 of d best yet

So the shows are usually recorded the day b4. Like elimination show is done on Friday but aired on Saturday while Nomination show is done on Saturday but aired on Sunday.

When I mentioned this earlier in this post some people were disagreeing telling me that this set is better or the best.

I just cast my mind back to Previous seasons. See, season 6 & 7 remains the best vocally for me. Immaculate, Nini, Olawale, Geoffery, Christian, Rukky, I mean!!! We have good voices this year too I wouldn't deny but they are still playing. The only ones who came for business are Kitay, Okiemute, Eli, Gabriel, Steve & Pere.

Like samhay or someone said, the standard has dropped and I think it's from this "Everybody on probation" thing & MTN doing anything 4 money. They used to be more disciplined and it kept the show hot.

Now I agree Praiz as a judge is not hard/good enough. I miss Adebantu. Among the judges, no one is really looking into their eyes and telling them the plain truth. They keep petting them. People like Oluchi & Winner would've woken up.

Anybody can catch that probation bullet tomorrow I can't even guess I may be wrong.

If Oluchi, she wont be saved by the faculty. (Uncle Ben told her today that if she doesn't hear her name by viewers vote, she should take it that she's going home).
Eli & Gabriel likely to enter probation too though i hope not.
If Okiemute, Contestants will never save her. she's wayyy better than them!! LOL! she'd be saved by Judges or faculty

He rendered a heartfelt and really good apology to her and they hugged. Thank God we can all move on now.

After doing what? Pls can you explain what went down if you watched it? If you didn't watch it, don't assume. It could've been anything and you may be wrong.

Let's say he was really disrespectful to her and something big happened to warrant his punishment. Y didn't MTN show it? In Season 6 when Clement got out of his wheel chair and wanted to hit one girl for insulting him she said "Break your leg!" Or "One leg" or something like that. MTN showed it and even showed it slow motion sef I think. No one cried wolf when the babe got scolded and later evicted from the show.

I don't know what Kitay did to disrespect Ms Loveth but pls lets not rush to judgement. Remember in Naija people are quick to accuse one of rudeness and disrespect even when it isn't so. Until MTN shows us the video i wouldn't judge Kitay. I wont be surprised if at the end of the day its something negligible.
And by the way foolish MTN, if you know you are not going to show us the disrespect btwn Ms Lovette & Kitay, why tag your video as "Flout The Rule, Pay The Price"? Show us the rule he flouted nah. Mscheeww!! They show 1 side but wont the other.
