Kukutente23: Rubbish What of your god the president who promised us electricity If I promise to make your life soft and I open a shop for you to make a living from, will you be expecting me to be funding your account every week with a million naira? Because I promised to make your life soft and I have to be paying? Tinubu passed a bill to allow states and governors to generate power. There's no way the FG will power the entire country. That's not working for us. Obasanjo tried and it didn't work every other government tried it didn't work. The bill to decentralized the power generation is the only solution to stable electricity. You have the freedom to get license and give power to your street and make money just like selling tap water to make money. Studying Egypt's power sector without telling the masses what you learned and how you will apply it is just a political statement to get power. |

UzorIyke: That one in Abia State is a private investment worth about 1 billion dollars plus and started about 2 or 3 decades ago is not comparable to every situation or as judge to others. Meanwhile I'm not defending any body, all i said is that everyone should do their best, Nigeria will be great one day. No power project started decades ago.... The amendment was made when Tinubu came to power to allow state governors and individuals to have license to be able to generate power and distribute power. Nothing of such was allowed previously. The decades ago that you mentioned. States who generated power, Obasanjo passed a bill to forcefully collect and link their energy to the national grid... You should make findings before youake your claims and abuse the efforts of this government simply because you hate this government from hearsays. |

They will never be in a thread like this but will open other threads to ask irrelevant questions about what Tinubu has done in his three years.... The report showed that total capital inflows into the economy rose to $3.52 billion in January, representing an increase of 181.6% from the $1.25 billion recorded in December 2025, driven largely by foreign investors’ increased appetite for Nigerian bonds and money market instruments. Foreign investors trooping in with confidence to invest. Obi who's 2023 campaign strategy was to quote statistics and numeric facts is now campaigning with insecurities in the country and suffering as if he made Anambra state a perfect place with everyone living as billionaires in the state.... I have repeatedly mentioned here that what would've worked was a joint project among federal, state and private sector...the same thing NNPC does. Sadly, the dumbest of us have been hired to destroy this country with SENSELESS supporters hailing them every day. How can you reason like a primary school pupil? Godfullsam: You can only try, but you cannot successfully defend this failed government because the incompetence in visible even to the blind.
What is the result of the subsidy this administration is bragging about? Subsidy is gone yet we are still borrowing recklessly. We still borrow far more than when we are paying for subsidy.
What a shame!
The good thing is, we are all feeling the heat together. Even the you that is backing this terrible government, you are feeling it hot hot except you want to decieve yourself.
No body is against subsidy removal, we are only against reckless borrowing in the face of subsidy, we are against inflation, we are against insecurity. By the way, who told you I support obi? Wetin concern me with me with obi Another ignorance smelling out of your comment.... Previously, we borrowed to pay subsidy and capital projects as well as borrowing to pay salaries...... But currently, we're not borrowing to pay anything but for capital project as well as borrowing to loan out to other countries with more gains. There's no country in the world that isn't borrowing.... You can point out one country and let's fact check. United States has one of the largest debts in the world. Japan also has extremely high public debt. Even China borrows too, despite being economically powerful. But you believe Nigeria has no business with borrowing? To answer your other question..... Subsidy funds is divided into three tiers.... The federal, State and LGA.... The revenue your state government was collecting previously and complaining that they can't do massive projects is now tripped and the LGA problems have been shifted from them to the LGA directly from the TSA. Please, if you feel like hating someone, say it directly and stop hiding under ignorance. |

Godfullsam: In what way has the imaginary reforms elevated the naira? How much is the exchange rate as we speak and what is the purchasing power of the naira? Can you mention any tangible thing you can purchase with 100 naira? Seems you don't even know the meaning of the word 'elevation'.
How many investors can you visibly count on ground since the beginning of this balablu maladministration, except the lies you were told on the pages of news paper and social media.
How many investors will risk their hard earned funds in an economy characterised with uncertainty and security challenges?
Talking about security challenges, this is not the time for excuses and blame games. Tinubu once said 'the bulk stop at the president's table'.
He is the commander in chief of the armed forces and his primary and basicresponsibility as a leader is to protect the lives and properties of the citizens.
Wether the insecurity is politically motivated, economically motivated or religiously motivated is non of our business. He should figure out how to find a lasting solution to the security challenges or get the f$ck off! The previous government subsidized almost everything. The original price of naira was subsidized. The previous government borrowed to pay for you to live easily while other criminals stole that comfort from Nigerians. If there was no subsidy in the previous government, you wouldn't be sounding like a novice. But since you're good at criticizing and not read news, you get your head filled with anything that's against the government. I bet you, even if Peter Obi becomes a president today, if your expectations fall short, you will criticize him within looking towards the reforms and policies placed |

Godfullsam: What reform exactly?
The insecurity challenges that have overwhelmed the security forces?
The inflation rate that have gone over the roof?
The reckless borrowing without despite subsidy removal on fuel, electricity ⚡, dollar gas etc?
Tell us what the reform has yielded pls. The economic reforms that has elevated the naira. Placed Nigeria in a position where investors can easily be talked to and also allows the world bank to have confidence in the country. About insecurities, these people did the same thing in 2014 to oust GEJ. Created boko haram and started kidnapping kids in the school and the likes of Aisha Yusuf championed that moment to drag GEJ out of office. And today, she wants to be a politician. Insecurity in Nigeria is politically motivated and can't be solved by a president. The same act formed to destroy your government. |

Sonofgod1990: His point was also very direct: creators are celebrated socially, but questioned commercially. A bank may welcome you, take pictures with you and tell you how much their family loves your work. But once you ask for funding, the question becomes: where is your collateral? People like Dbanj did little or nothing to invest on human development or creating paths for younger stars to thrive through him. Why then should banks award him with loans without collateral? |

marcusverum: Before you propose to that woman, go and study her mother carefully.
Not her looks. Not her career. Not how she treats you right now when she is trying to win you. Study her mother.
How does her mother speak to her father? How does she handle conflict? How does she age? What is her disposition toward men? What is her relationship with money? What is her energy in the home?
That woman you want to marry is watching her mother every day of her life. She is absorbing those patterns whether she knows it or not. What you see in the mother is a preview of what is coming in the marriage.
A woman with a bitter mother will become bitter. A woman with a disrespectful mother will become disrespectful. A woman with a strong, dignified mother has a template for strength and dignity.
You are not just marrying her. You are inheriting her upbringing.
Do your homework before you propose. My wife is the exact opposite of her mother..... Infact, she disagrees with her mother and father on many occasions. Her idea of good home training isn't what the mother portrays. But the first woman I wanted to marry was a puppet to her mother.... She practically does every thing her mother says. |
