Just because i asked a question means I don't know anything about it? Firstly my school doesn't run those courses, secondly my question is asking about the risks of running those courses and not what is medicine and surgery lastly I'm not one those who are ashamed of asking what they don't know about because of people like you who feel because you know this that means everyone should know too

Medicine is a very very stressful course. It is supposed to be six years in the minimum, but depending on your performance it can stretch to 8 or 9 years.

Unless you have a plan to get out of this country, or you opt for public health, you may not make a good living
A lot of my friends in school were medical students and a lot of them were upset after graduation. The general refrain was our parents deceived us into this profession
It is even more painful as you will see people you entered into uni with graduate, start working and making money while you are still dragging allowance.

My parents said I failed them for something I had no control over, the only way to redeem myself is to go for medicine. I'm doing this for them, I'd prefer to go for computer science as I have passion for it and im good at mathematics and physics im not good at chemistry,

Do you have passion for those disciplines or you want to go in just for the prestige. Can you withstand the stress If you were in school for 3 years, you should know about the courses.

My school don't run any of those courses, hence why I asked

If age is still on your side, go for mbbs. And go hard.

But if u dont give a hoot about what anyone thinks and wanna kick life in the balls, id say forget uni , go learn data science and machine learning or Product design in a very good IT sch.
Say one year max. Then ship your stinking ass to canada or australia where theres huge demand. By the end of 4 years, Id accept your appreciation with a treat at a restaurant( 5 star only)

After 3 years wasted you still wish to go a bigger course you know nothing about? From your question of confusion it seems you no no book.

My advice, go into a 4years course give it your best to come out at least 2.1... Go for masters abroad and thank me later with 1 million naira of your salary in 6yrs time

I was on 3.7 bro, I had financial issues and wasn't able to register, I had to repeat my Siwes. I deferred, repeated Siwes, only for the dean to tell me I have been withdrawn from the university because I didn't register for two consecutive semesters. After I paid 50k for registration and written deferment, I never knew my hod didn't pass it to Senate. That's my mistake bro

Hi tayebest, unfortunately for you, I'm going to go again. I asked for advice, if you can't give one atleast stop being arrogant, judgemental and trying to put someone down for asking more about what you don't know, do you know everything about all the faculties in your school? Fyi my school doesn't run the courses I listed

Thank you, I've been under a lot of pressure, to my family it's all about redeeming myself and going for a bigger course. Deep down I'd prefer going for computer science, but my family believe in me hence why I decided to challenge myself.

I was withdrawn from the university after my 300 level due to administrative issues, which was partly my fault. I have been depressed for over sometime now but thank God finally it's all in the past now.

Presently, I'm preparing to write jamb again and apply for either of medicine and surgery, pharmacy or medical laboratory technology . my question is what are these courses like?
