Just finished serving a good ban. When is the tourney continuing?
BusinessRe: War Against The Bookies (the Fellowship Of Advanced Punters) by jasper7(op): 12:21pm On Jul 10, 2013
Okay, am just back from a 3 day ban. I have been itching to comment on activities but e no easy at all. A little hint for 2day.Major Leagues will start from next weekend down to the last week in August. Leagues like Ukraine and Russia are already warming up to draw the curtain. One helpful tip I can give you for Matchday1 is that It's statistically proven that 80% of matchday1 games end in Umder2.5, 3.5, 4.5 (depending on the team or league). The first week is usually among the lowest scoring weeks in a season. Reason?, Nothing is at stake yet, everybody plays cautious ball, Nobody wants to make the first mistake. So, backing unders in week1 shud look profitable

There are many positives to take home from these. At least the BB pple have proven that you can work togeda and rip the bookies. See as even newbies dey make mega profit because some pple dey coperate dey post better picks. If only Football pple can do the same when season start. We'll surely be making plenty money. Bookie must park go village, go become bookie for draft and Ludo or plant cassava this season. cheesy. BB pple abeg make una carry on. Don't let the devil stop the good work you guys are doing.

Please brodas. Let us not dwell on trivial matters. We learn everyday. Both from the wise and the foolish. Since nobody has the power to bring in or take out. All we can do is ignore those we need to ignore. And continue our business. These BB people have made this thread over lively. By the time football will start, Me, Bukahands, Akarym, Lowisz, teeboy, tux, albacete, hopefully even the likes of brainy, bemagnify, Elari, Drizzy and obysolid will be back and we'll start our own in-play chat cheesy. Michky: This boy again. Chei. Okay, let me reply him. He calls everything raves that will all pass. Did those trends pass on their own? Answer me! Was it not after plenty thug fights, that were initiated by Michky, that has given this thread the life it has today? Let me remind this boy again that, during each of those past catastropic episodes (zboy and the rest), each of those criminals you mentioned had plenty support from hungry people on this thread, which made it even harder for sane minds to sustain the top quality which the originators of this thread would have dreamed of. Now, fastforward to today, history is repeating itself once again. It is well.
Is there any need to reply you? See how you are calling people "thugs". People you have never met in your life. Then here, you repeatedly call me "boy". Is there a need for me to reply you? Maybe Yes, to put you in your place. But I'll rather choose to walk away and let you take all the Glory. With this attitude of yours, one day we'll all leave you and your thread alone. A little advice for you, Don't try to walk the walk of fame on other people's heads.

BusinessRe: War Against The Bookies (the Fellowship Of Advanced Punters) by jasper7(op): 2:07pm On Jul 06, 2013
albacete: I must commend u for all the vital info u have passed across to the house. In as much as i would not like to dwell on the issue of d bookies having an edge in the 1x2 market, i beg to disagree when u say u have 33.3% chance in the 3-way market.

A simple question would suffice: Brest and BATE Borisov (Belarus league) is playing today by 16:00. Over 0.5 goals is 1.02 and under 0.5 goals is 11.0 (Paddy Power). Are u now saying that the likelihood of the match ending in a goal-less draw (under 0.5) is 50% since it has 1 chance in 2?

The chances of an outcome happening in the 1x2 market is not always 33%. That was my view initially until i got to know how the odds reflect the outcome of an event happening.
When pricing d odds of a match, the probability of each outcome happening is included in the odds. The probability may be 33% (in an odd of 3.0) or 90% (in an odd of 1.10). Just divide 1 by d odds to get the true chance of the outcome.
A team having an odd of 1.25 in the 1x2 market has an 80% likelihood, not 33%.
Remember I used the word "mathematically". Probability in mathematics involves only the outcome and variables, it's not a yes or no question. There's a yes or no or maybe in the 1x2 market. Mathematically speaking you stand 33.3% chance. But considering other factors, your chances increases or reduces.
BusinessRe: War Against The Bookies (the Fellowship Of Advanced Punters) by jasper7(op): 12:45pm On Jul 06, 2013
albacete: It is better to analyse teams with lower odds than to think that d odds do not matter and back d underdogs.
However, small odds do not always play. Yesterday in Ireland, Cork City won Sligo Rovers 3-1 @ an odd of 6.50. Sligo to win was priced @ 1.45.
Cork City had a 15% slim chance of winning (1/6.5), yet they won. So even if a team has just 2% chance of winning, they might still win.
The above instance is a disclaimer on small odds playing all d time. Punters take note.
Exactly! Before betting on small odds, full analysis needs to be done. Throughout last season, Newcastle were favourites to win almost all the mid-table and bottom table teams. Yet they cud not win up to 40% of those games. One would by looking at the odds, chicken out of betting against Newcastle, even when analysis and statistics where against them. That's what makes up pros. We are not moved by the odd.

BusinessRe: War Against The Bookies (the Fellowship Of Advanced Punters) by jasper7(op): 3:28am On Jul 06, 2013
jasper7: This first system is just an inspiration that dropped while I read through alba, soma and Unclenna's system. After going throug it thoroughly, I have come up with this system. Please don't hesitate to criticize this system carelessly, and also raise up questions and doubts.

System Odds >2.0: This system requires between 3-9 good tested and trusted punters. We'll divide the time of the day into 3 parts. Which is 8hrs for every part. The 9 punters will now share themselves into groups of 3. Each group gets one part of the day. So group1 can take from 12 to 8am, group2, 8am to 4pm and group 3 from 4pm to 12. Now each group is supposed to supply the thread with one game of odds2.0 or above everyday. (Either in a combo or single). I believe that if the 9 punters are really handpicked, at least 2 of the 3 groups shud win everyday. Which is a bit of profit. I a case where 2 lose. It won't be much of a loss and if 3 win it would be big profit. I don't think bet of odd 2.0 shud be much of a problem for any good punter. If your account is large enough, you can use martingale system on such bets, such dat once one of the groups win you have made your target profit for the day
okay for this system, markets shud be chosen from over2.5, over1.5 and 12 doublechance. If you can accumulate games from these markets to make up to the stipulated odds of 2.0. Any sure market within your group timeline should be posted here for analysis. Any other suggestions?
