This is the truth. The next cycle many people will ignore alts like mad. All of us bag holders would take losses, break even and dive into btc.

This next bear don't be surprised that some alts called strong would be delisted cos they'll all be dumped into hades.

So many of the alt coins that were hyped in early months of 2024 are being delisted across major exchanges. I saw aidoge being delisted across major exchanges recently on coinmarketcap I shook my head. There is no patience with alts, patience only apply to btcee & eth, once these alts gets delisted, they hardly make it back & that's the end.

Just stick to btc , with the current market condition there’s no difference bidding top 20 and top 500.
If you check those coins in top 20, they’re down 60-80%.
Except eth, sol and bnb, none of them have hit previous ATH. These people are extracting liquidity with alts.

I did some research few months ago & discovered most of the altcoins that peaked in 2017, couldn't make it back to one quarter of their 2017 ATH in 2021. A popular altcoin that did $1000+ in 2017, which everyone would think by now will be around $5k+ couldn't even attain a price of $200 in the peak of 2021 bull run. Today that coin is around $50. Since then I became very careful of alts.

The worst mistake anyone can make is accumulating altcoins for long term, it is risky. Someone once said the only true coin is Bitcoinn, every other coin apart from Bitcoinn is being controlled by group of persons. Get into alts & leave immediately u see profits. Anything can happen among the developers, that is d risk. Imagine Mantra OM moving from $8 to $0.1 within a twinkle of an eye.

It is possible your friend may be telling u the truth. To be very honest The cryptto market has been very different this year. The mistake alot of people make is failing to tell others the risks involve with altcoins before they invest. They end up painting themselves as scammerss.

There is a way this cycle thing is linked to Bitcoinn halving, maybe that is what ilegen.d meant when he said cycle is coded into blockchain. Bitcoinn has always peaked a year after halving & so far this year has not been different. Bitcoinn is what we can use to judge cycles, not alts. This blockchain thing began with only Bitcoin, Altcoin is just an after thought. Bnb is already approaching its price prediction of 1500 for the cycle, just a little pump from eth will also put it at its peak which will likely happen before December.
