Removing fuel subsidy before he resume office was a template of his failure, I mean who take such decision even 2months after resumption to office

Removing fuel subsidy on inauguration day was the greatest mistake of all time. I doubt if anyone is ever going to beat that record. The ripple effect of that wrong decision has done serious damage to the economy.

Only way out of this mess is to re-subsidize petrol.
Build other refineries, OPEC Quota is for Crude oil, not refined petrol. Lets use our own crude to get petrol locally and keep the prices down.
Exactly!
Even increasing minimum wage is never solving anything if fuel price is not brought down. It will further trigger inflation & render our currency completely useless. Once workers start earning 400k for example, a bag of water will be selling for 10k, that is how bad it can get. What about those in the private sector? I don't know who is advising this govt.

Those who advised the president to remove the oil and forex subsidy tricked the president.

They have played the so called smart man a trick.

Now you have to use all that money you have saved from the subsidies.

You have to hand it over to the state governors to pay salaries.

When Nigeria paid subsidy, the funds were controlled at the federal level.

Now all the states can now have access to a crazy amount of money in the name of salary payment.

In a country where there is no real statistics on the actual amount of workers in any state.

The president is about to use the next 8 years handing over the treasury to the sub-nationals and just be a figure head..........lol

You have been played Mr President.

You are now not only subsidizing oil and Forex. You are also paying out all the treasury to sub-nationals
You have said it all!
The subsidy removal affected the economy badly & brought about all these. I'm very confident till this govt leave power, removing subsidy was the biggest mistake they will make. Funny thing is they are now going to be paying higher money on salaries as compared to what was paid on subsidy. Now only govt workers will enjoy this minimum wage as compared to subsidy that covered everyone. Subsidy removal was a very wrong decision.

The man grew City if David to enviable hight after the passing of Pastor Eskom Mfon.

To now transfer him to Ebute Metta HQ is tantamount to rendering him redundant and to say the least useless
.

How does transferring a pastor amount to redundancy? Do u know how many catholic priests that build big parishes & were transferred to smaller parish? I honestly think Pentecostal is the problem of Christianity. They are too worldly & materialistic! Their view of Christianity is nothing but business. I pity their followers...

What about private sectors will they be able to meet up? The biggest mistake this govt made was removing fuel subsidy. That decision alone birthed a lot of trouble for the economy. It was not a well thought out plan at all.

A country is a place where the people decided to live together in peace and unity, and an all inclusive agenda...not the opposite.

Even the states that make up the US decided and signed to be united. Nigeria didn't. It was amalgamated by the colonial masters for administrative convenience.

A marriage of administrative convenience, yes. They never decided to be together.
Not a cogent reason, not only Nigeria was colonized.

Country is finished. If this can happen to a federal senator just imagine what would happen to the innocent masses. All these unnecessary show of force and flexing of power if fruitless. Let's be honest.
Nigeria can't afford to fight two wars on different fronts. These boys should be in the north securing the country every single political problem in the south is something dialogue and slight change of policies can handle.
You people always try to downplay your secessionist agenda, but not knowing that a secessionist is a greater threat than a terrorist to any government all over the world. A terrorist is only causing terror, but a secessionist is trying to take part of a country away. No government is lenient with a secessionist, not even the US.

The loot of 40 billion naira was finally converted to USDT through P2P. All those individuals and merchant accounts who sold USDT to the FBN fraudster in exchange for the looted naira will have their accounts restricted. Afterwards, they will refund all the naira paid to their accounts and lose all their USDT.
Seems u misconstrued my comment.
Those involved in this fraud bank accounts can be restricted & lose their usdt, it is normal in cases like this. But what i was trying to correct is, this particular fraud is not the reason the USDT.NGN pair was delisted from exchange platforms or bank accounts restricted from cryptto transactions. Because that seems to be what the original poster was trying to say.

One needs to be careful. Perhaps this is one the reasons they stopped USDT.NGN and then the fintech's bank anti-crypto stance and blockage of
account:

Exclusive: First Bank employee on the run after diverting ₦40 billion; bank begins recovery

What does a bank staff diverting customers funds that ought to be reversed got to do with stopping USDT.NGN? They stopped usdt.ngn thinking it will help the naira, not because of this. Remember Buhari stopped cryptto bank transaction far back as at January 2021?
