to me for a studio setup u will need started pack camera like the Nikon 3100/3200 then like smoochchn said u would need a crop frame Nikon 7100/7200 is very cool too... canon 600d & canon 7d very good camera too.. then ur lightening is also important since u not just taking passport... u can start with two light source I.e soft box and the light.... then ur lenses is very crucial follow the lenses prescribed by smoochchn... #imagedoctor

Dont know what to say cos scam everywhere even your family will scam you but this case if u go around borrowing the money and it turned out to be a scam how will you pay back? my advice since he is willing to give u 80% of the money beg him to complete his good will and promise to pay back.... no crime in seeking for advice.... anybody that u have not av a close contact with for over 3years, u need to be careful dealing with such person.....
