As you all know,Germany has a vibrant economy with good education standard and cost of living here is cheaper than most developed countries. But, It's important to clarify an impression which we always find online about Germany(e.g Germany needs engineers,IT experts, blah blah blah ) all these are not really true, a professor said it to my face. As far as i know, so many African guys i know are still searching for jobs which is quite frustrating for them, even getting an opportunity for internship needs fasting and prayer. pardon me, i have to be frank with you guys about it not because i want to demotivate you but to tell you the truth so that your mind can be prepared for the challenges ahead. The most interesting side is if you're coming to study medicine you have a wide opportunity to get a job after your study cos they are in great need of doctors. the education here is standard there is no doubt about it and free tuition but after your studies the chances of getting a good offer from one of there big firms is really low that is a bitter truth, there are various challenges you must face in the Germany labour force like ( Language: Fluent German which can take you approximately 1 year if you are fast. National Character EU Commision law, you will be consider after Germany Nationals, EU nationals, Eastern European before the African and the rest of other Developing Nations, you can as well relocate to an English speaking countries like Canada, New Zealand, USA or Australia if getting a job is seems difficult. Lastly, i will advice you guys to consider Luebeck (it's a city in state of Schleswig Holstein) your last option for an admission, it is quite difficult to get a student job with no german knowledge. Good luck guys, we shall all get there |
