With the second bike now gone and the first bike sold to my brother in law for 400k, I woke up to reality.

My brother paid an initial deposit of ₦180k and refused/couldnt pay the rest, I learned my lesson, don't do business with families cos you won't call the police on them. I had to go through a difficult financial stress, that tested my limits.

Halfway through my studies, there was no money to continue the school, depression became my companion, omo, e remain to blame Tinubu. Cos right now,it feels comfortable to blame him for everything, both the ones he is aware of and those he isn't, he is our lucky escape from whatever we are going thru, .

I knew along the line I may have to drop out, school needs finance and I couldn't keep up, yet can't accept such reality of becoming a dropout. I need to figure out something and I need to do it fast.

After my first semester, I then decided to start ICAN classes, (Institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria).

My plan is If I couldnt continue with the school and drop out, I will have to further the ICAN since it's a cheaper route, I sought for money and I was able to pay for only two ICAN courses instead of four, wrote the exam and passed. I saw my result. And for the first time in a long time, there was an actual joy in my heart.

Second semester started and I had to do both ICAN and PGD programme concurrently, while looking for a good job to support myself, I applied for every job I could find.

Still I don't want to drop out from the school so I decided to try and go to class for another day. days turned to weeks, weeks turned months and months turned to a semester, finally I was able to finish the PGD with perseverance, I had a sigh of relief.

Just immediately after PGD exam, ICAN exam came, I had to write the other two I didn't register for, but then I didn't have the capacity to be calm and read for my ICAN all these time, I still wrote anyways, I wrote the exam but didn't pass, It was pretty devastating for me.

I actually created this thread to encourage youth, but somehow I needed that encouragement even more than the youths I wanted to encourage

To give a glimpse of what happened, I decided to go back and start a masters programme in Uniport, while still driving my bike, but actualization of ones dreams is only interesting when it's told as a story, reality is brutal and unforgiven, nothing ever goes according to plan.
I had cried, I had hoped, I had sleepless nights, yet I kept pushing forward, and the more I tried to push forward, the more village people push backward.

This is my own schooling, and it's not a very smooth one.

I got enrolled into Uniport to study PGD Accounting, easy peasy right? Wrong.

I sold my first bike to my brother inlaw after many persons advised me against hire purchase, then I raised some money again to buy another bike and ride along Uniport road.
Driving the motorcycle in Uniport was not all rosy, police and "Uniport agbero" made it difficult for me, also driving while going to classes was hell, I had to put the second bike on sale, used the money for something else. That was the beginning of problem or should I saying the continuation of the next episode of wahala.

Thirdly while coming back, two were on front, two was behind and one was with the rescued.

I am not in the military, though I loved the job, but such formation made me smile.

All in all, this entire simulation is 10/10.

Secondly people complained that no one stayed behind to keep an eye.
That is not true, because I counted 10 military personelles from the two choppers went for the rescue. But only 5 came back with the rescued, meaning the other 5 stayed behind but the video didn't capture them.
Many persons didn't count, they just concluded based on what the video showed. That's even bad cos how can majority miss that obvious point?

First, one complain was the danfo parking style.

But I seriously think at least a rescue military helicopters praised for his ruggedness should at least be able to have such a violent deceleration.

If you land like the executive helicopters which hovers around for 45-50seconds before landing, it could give enemies reaction time.
So a military chopper could at least decelerate violently in enemies territories.

I give the landing 10/10

During the rescue mission of the grand finale of 163rd anniversary celebration in Port Harcourt, many persons felt the simulation was not perfectly executed and identified some errors (or maybe they thought they identified aome errors) but my analysis is different and I saw nothing wrong with the simulation, it couldn't be have been better.

And I'll give my points.

I like your mentality. The facts that you know and agreed that it's not befitting of a graduate that spent a whole 4 to 6 yrs at the university with strike etc ..to graduate and be an okada man.

Your parents and family wouldn't be all that happy ofcourse even though they might just try and encourage you.

I also like your Dad, he didn't bother so much about what you are doing but went ahead to be encouraging you and even got a Masters admission form for you. That man is a great man.

My advise, keep on doing this. You have acquired 2 bikes now, soon you will acquire 3, 4, 5 and 6 etc.....

Please, think about adding value to the job by raising the standard a little. You can do this by doing something like Gokada kind of system.

Discuss with IT experts, programmers on how you can make an App for okada riders. This would be well discussed while you are doing your studies at Uniport.

This would enable other Okada drivers to download your app as drivers while your potential passengers too download the riders app just like it's done in Uber and Bolts and also Gokada.

After this is done, you might not even have the interest of buying more Okada again cos those other drivers will be the one using their own Okada to be doing the job while yours is just to be maintaining your App and also be making money on each ride......don't charge too much o....let your percentage be fair enough so that many okada drivers will key into it.

Don't be discouraged, it's doable and not difficult. Talking from experienced.

Lastly, I wish you success in this your business exploit.

I didn't acquire two bikes, I will use the money for the second bike to assist in my education. My dad won't do everything.

What is it about being a graduate?

I think somehow no be everybody like the idea of a university graduate becoming Okada man, e no sound nice sha. I knew lots of people that discouraged me from my previous thread.

I can't upload pics of the ticket and how my union ID card looks like cos it might give too much information and I wan remain anonymous for now.

I am now giving out the bike on hire purchase cos I need to focus on schooling.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I was able to save some money and decided to get a another second hand motorcycle which I'll give out for hire purchase while still driving my first bike.
But my Dad suggested I should pick up a masters programme form, at first going back to school was not part of my plans, at least not now. But he agreed to assist me in the schooling, so I went to uniport and picked a form in accounting, cos I needed the analytical and management knowledge, even though I have ruled out the possibilities of getting a job, the accounting skill will help me manage my own business and companies in the future, so I had to pick the form, since I didn't study accounting in my first degree, I had to pick PGD form and will continue my business while still acquiring knowledge, I might not create another thread for now until I finish my schooling and probably have a solid business that thrives on a system.
I know it won't be easy but it's not impossible

I touched down my village on one faithful day, at least sometimes I will eat mommy thank you and won't be worried about house rent.

The next day I carried my bike out, I already know the roads so it wasn't a problem.

2days after, tax force stopped me, I didn't have their vest, I didn't buy local govt sticker and I didn't buy ticket, with abeg and so much explanation on how I started this bike new and this is my second day, they took 2k from me, and that was even because thy knew me.
I quickly got their vest and registered it, thankfully the union chairman is a friend to my father, he guide me through the process and I got everything for 16k.
Speaking of dad, my father was embarrassed that I am driving motorcycle, my elder brother told me I am disgracing the family lolz, my younger brother threatened to burn down the motorcycle cos he is ashamed of his graduate brother driving motorcycle. Na wa o, I for just stay for Abia state, than coming to my state and get threatened by my own family. . All those mother's that use me as a good example to their children and those people that respected me sef just weak for me, I wonder how they will explain to their children now lol.
My mom and my elder sister were the only ones that encouraged me, and I had to encourage myself too and had always convinced myself this is not what I will do, it's just the begining of the journey.

This thread is created to just encourage youths, if you are going through a lot, u are not a lot, we plenty for the country.
Earlier this year I created a topic on the motorcycle I bought with my NYSC savings, so I won't be stranded after NYSC. The journey has not been easy, showing up everyday consistently with the urge to give up yet too determined to succeed.
Unpleasant words from friends and family that are too embarrassed with me driving motorcycle, constant bully and extortion from tax force and agbero has been my major problem.
Nigeria is not for the weak.

I learned how to drive the motorcycle, at first it wasn't easy at all, but man no get option, if I had super powers, I would just learn it in a day.
Anyways I still entered road after learning the basics and balancing the bike, this was the beginning of reality, some days I won't make much money and the bike will have issues due to bad roads in Abia state(the state I served), it was so bad that sometimes heavy vehicles will fall and cover the road, I will end up fixing my bike from the little I saved. I wasn't saving much, I had to travel back to my village and decide to drive there since we have better roads... Typing
