Health › Re: My Wife's Serious Fertility Issue Is Affecting My Mental Health by JayEdm: 5:06pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
KobeMan: We married A Year ago. We decided to wait for a year before having kids. We started trying 3 few months but no success. I told both of us needs to get tested. I did Sperm Analysis & the result is good, I'm very fertile.
She did pelvic scan, and in the scan, She has fibroid (Submocousal fibroid 5.5cm). The news broke me and I was very sad, I never imagined I'll be in this kind of situation. We went to the gynecologist and He told us to go for HSG to check her fallopian tube, The result showed that Both Tubes are blocked.
I've not been myself for the last couple of days. I had to pretend to be strong because She was down & has been crying as well. This are two serious fertility issues and Her chances of conception is very low. Even if The gynecologist tells us to do the IVF(Which I don't even have money for it cause it's vey expensive) They'll still have to remove the fibroid.
This are very expensive procedures that are not even guaranteed that it will work and She will conceive. I'm the only male child in my family, in my early 30's. Pressure will start coming from all directions and also considering my my age, I don't pray to experience delay with child birth. I just decided to pour own my mind here. I'm really down, I don't know what to do. What would you want to be done to you if you were in her shoes If you had azoospermia or any other problems, what would you want her to feel about you? Do unto others what you would want them to do for you. Empathy first ...Shalom!!! |

Romance › Re: “I Was With Him When He Was Drinking Garri” — But Did You Buy The Garri? by JayEdm: 7:03pm On May 30, 2025 |
Som of us did all that, bought the garri, gave money, motivated , encouraged...basically everything. Guess what I got afterwards...." After all,I never forced you to help me"....just pray not to meet an ingrate who's also entitled. Dpsychologist: I saw this tweet by Erigga and it hit deep.
“I was with him when he was drinking garri.” But na you buy the garri? 🤨
Let’s unpack this mindset that’s becoming very common in our generation.
🧠 The “Loyalty” Women Talk About Today is Not Real
Many women love to say they were there when you had nothing. But truth is, a lot of them were just witnesses, not builders.
They didn’t help. They didn’t invest. They didn’t even believe in you—they were just hoping for a return on their emotional “time.”
It’s all about positioning themselves for the future harvest without ever planting seeds.
📌 Presence ≠ Participation
There’s a clear difference between being present and being useful.
Ask yourself:
Did she contribute to your hustle?
Did she support with money, ideas, motivation?
Or did she just sit there… waiting?
Too many women want to claim royalty status for just hanging around during your broke phase.
💭 Real Loyalty is Silent
The girl who actually bought the garri isn’t the one tweeting. She’s the one you remember when you finally blow—because she didn’t make noise, she made impact.
Loyalty is:
Showing up consistently.
Investing (not just emotionally, but tangibly).
Praying, planning, building with you.
But most of what you see now is emotional blackmail masked as support.
⚠️ Men, Stop Rewarding Passive Loyalty
Your success is not community property. If she didn’t grind with you, she shouldn’t reap with you.
Let’s break it down clearly:
If What She Did is to make you feel Encouraged, supported, sacrificed then sje deserves Respect & loyalty If What She Did is Invested in your dream then What She Deserves is Return on value But if she Complained, watched, tolerated you then she deserves Nothing but silence 😐
💬 Final Thoughts
Let this sink in:
🧾 Presence without contribution is just observation. And observers don’t get trophies.
So next time a woman says, “I was with you when you were drinking garri”, calmly ask:
“Did you buy am for me?”
Because sitting on the sideline doesn't make you a teammate.
What do y’all think? Have you experienced this? Drop your thoughts and share with someone who needs this reminder. 🧠🔥 |

Crime › Re: Someone Ordered A Large Amount Of Food & Drinks From My Shop Yesterday And Fled by JayEdm: 1:17pm On Sep 04, 2024 |
Merry100 That poo in front of a shop is jazz they do. It makes one's legs to swell up and eventually start bringing out maggots. You need to pray fervently. May God be with you.
post=131841132: Someone is targeting me, and I don't know who it is, but it seems to be related to a shop. I recently reopened this particular shop. It is in a good location, situated beside the main road, but I had previously closed it out of frustration. The shop was burgled and all my valuable gadgets were stolen. It has not even been three months since I renovated the shop, brought in new gadgets, and reopened it, but someone has been trying to burgle it again.
Yesterday, we discovered that someone tried to break into the shop, the person also tampered with the signboard on top of the shop roof, causing it to face downwards.
Also, a man came to the shop yesterday and placed a large order for different foods and various drinks, which exceeded what was available, he said he needed it for a party. While my other staff were in the kitchen area preparing more food for him, he sent the staff who was supposed to serve the food on an errand, and she left without informing anyone, I don't know if she was under a spell or if she was just licking his feet.
When the man realized that he had successfully distracted all of them, he started pretending to be in a hurry. My sister decided to assist by putting the available food into disposable plates, and in the process, the man stole her phone and fled.
A lot has been happening lately. My staff had previously informed me that on the first day the shop was reopened, they saw a nylon bag full of poo in front of the shop and disposed of it.
My sister has been very cold and down since yesterday. Apart from the fact that the stolen phone is expensive, there are important documents on it. I tried hard to suppress my emotions, but seeing my sister in distress because of me made it impossible to hold back my tears.
She didn't even need to be in my shop yesterday. It was Monday and I needed to take foodstuffs to the shop, but I begged her to help me because I had an early morning appointment with a client at the office.
Even my car was tampered with. She parked it outside the shop in its usual location, but there were signs that someone had tried to break into it. It seems like someone is deliberately trying to frustrate me to the leave the shop. |

Politics › Re: Minimum Wage : Tinubu, Labour To Resume Talks Thursday by JayEdm: 11:59am On Jul 16, 2024 |
*BEREFT....not BEREAVED. Hemanwel: This president Tinubu is obviously proving that he's only good at politics - how to make political moves , how to settle political scores, etc. He is so bereaved of ideas when it comes to governance! Like, for how long are we gonna drag on this minimum wage thing? Is it this maladministration we are getting from him that he has taken his lifetime to prepare for?
Prices of commodities have sky-rocketed in the market, inflation is on an all-time high, food security challenge still persists, high dollar-naira exchange rate has affected the prices of imported goods, yet workers are still on 30k minimum wage.

Utterances like this should seriously be looked into on this platform
You could've been modest enough in your response or not respond at all... Two wrongs don't make a right
As for the first guy(yorubanibaba), that it's a faceless platform doesn't make you and other people say things you may or may not be able to utter to the person's face if you get to meet him/her physically.
I noticed the tribal sentiments and insults like this on this page. You might even tag him Igbo for his first comment but then, how are we ever gonna get better as a country/people? How are we putting our education in place with other people?
That a person's popular in Nigeria doesn't mean he's doing something right, why bring parents into this. I'm sorry but I'm too Yoruba to disrespect anyone's parents.
But when facts are spoken, please let's accept and see it as that not start another round of bashing.
Nigeria won't get better like this o, you people should cease the tribal rubbish and unnecessary insults. |

You are very sensible, Immortal crown.... immortalcrown: Moral decadence!
Your married cousin brings his side chick to your house and you allow it, claiming that you don't want to be seen as a bad person.
If another person harbours your son-in-law or or your brother-in-law with a side chick, will you praise the person? Answer this question.
Where is the wife of this your cousin? Is she dead or separated from your cousin? If not, why do you support infidelity against her? Will you be happy if someone supports the husband of your daughter or the husband of your sister to behave like this your cousin?
What standard of living does this your cousin give his 4 kids? Would you be happy if you learn that your father left you and your mother and spent weeks with another woman?
You now pretend to care about his wife and his children because he and his side chick make you uncomfortable in your house, not because you condemn his infidelity.[sub][/sub] |

Don't change your personality because of her behaviour.quote author=ScotHarvath post=130514323]Sex is another issue, I always have to beg for it and when I raised the issue in anger she said I can be going to get it from other girls.
I really don’t think most Nigerian girls deserve or want a cool headed man. They will show you shege.
Thinking back and seeing only the things I did I can only can myself a fool. Helping with the chores, helping with the kids, revealing everything about my finances to her, standing up to her family for once admonishing her, spending too much time with her and trying to make her my everything.
Friends have taught me a lot in this life which I why I chose to avoid friends and focus on my wife and family but this woman is making those same guys I abandoned for her call me a fool.
If there’s an altercation, she turns on off the TV and sound system so the neighbors can hear everything.
Is it wrong to be a good man and want your wife to be your best friend.
