Royal Roy: Your topic will be moved to the travel section as it has no bearing to the family section. If you however still want it on the front page, you will have to lobby the moderators from that section!

Cheers
Thanks Roy. You're the best.

And I must commend your good writing skills and impeccable grammar. Very sound.

TONYE001: I still felt that a change of environment would help ease the constriction of my vasculature. I really needed a change of environment, even if it’s just for a night. I was thinking fast in search of a solution of my plight. I decided to give another hotel a try. I called an oleya.

The day was already a very long and stressful one so I didn’t have any energy to start doing my explanations in French, I needed to fetch someone that understands English so that I could explain myself and what I wanted comfortably. Fetching a Togolese that understands English isn’t a difficult task as out of every 10, 6 or 7 can fumble their way through the language.

The oleya I called stopped.

Bonjour monsieur” I greeted.

Bonjour chef” he replied.

“Please do you understand English?” I asked.

He nodded boldly as a beam of relief flashed through my spine. I took about 2 to 3 (perhaps up to 4) minutes to explain to him what I wanted. I told him that I needed a hotel that isn’t too costly and that it shouldn’t be far from the campus (the general name for the university). As I explained he kept on nodding his head assuring me of his understanding. When I was done, he asked me to climb the bike as we drove off.

We drove around the city of Lome for about 30 minutes, passing over ten hotels that looked cheap. I said nothing as I assumed that he had a particular place in mind he was taking me to. I got uneasy when we were yet to arrive at a destination on the 40th minute or so.

Monsieur, please stop” I ordered him in French.

He stopped. I asked him where exactly he was taking me to.

“I didn’t understand where you told me you were going to” he said.

I almost fainted. It was just too much for one day. I needed a break badly. I paid him about 500CFAs or so (make him carry him trouble and mumuness go), got another oleya and told him to take me to my Copacabana.

I slept for the rest of the day.

TravelUS Citizenship And Immigrations Services Now Accepts Gay Marriages Worldwide by Jayfalls(op): 1:02am On Sep 17, 2013
Same-Sex Marriages

The United States Citizenship and Immigrations service now accepts green card applications from gay immigrants and also recognize gay couples and gay marriages performed in any country outside US where gay marriages are performed legally.

Equally, henceforth gay couples who play the US Diversity Visa Lottery can now play the lottery together as a couple where one partner will fill the form and list his/her partner as a spouse unlike before where each partner had to file differently and each could not list his partner as spouse on the form given that gay marriages were not recognized before. And before, even if one partner won, he could not go with his spouse given that gay marriages were hitherto not recognizable by the US Department of Homeland Security.

Equally, winners of the current DV 2013 and 2014 Visa Lotteries who are gay and married have currently been allowed the rare privilege of listing their partners on their immigrant applications.

Statement from Secretary of Homeland

Security Janet Napolitano on July 1, 2013:

“After last week’s decision by the Supreme Court
holding that Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act
(DOMA) is unconstitutional, President Obama
directed federal departments to ensure the decision
and its implication for federal benefits for same-sex
legally married couples are implemented swiftly and
smoothly. To that end, effective immediately, I have
directed U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
(USCIS) to review immigration visa petitions filed on
behalf of a same-sex spouse in the same manner as
those filed on behalf of an opposite-sex spouse.”

PoliticsRe: Osun State GDP Higher than Imo, Abia, Anambra, Enugu & Ebonyi by Jayfalls:
remark D: You post all these data and your analysis is "amazing..."

What inference are you alluding to?

another will come and open a thread titled... "Oyo state is bigger than Ebonyi...." and say "Amazing..."

I mean.... what's the point you are trying to make?

and more appalling is those who will join the bandwagon and say ish like "The truth is out" ... "Facts don't lie" .... and some irrelevant juvenile comments that's just so downright ridiculous....

As someone said in one of these ridiculous threads.... its only someone that feels threatened or inferior in one way or another, that takes the time to come out and constantly make noise in order to be heard and feel important in one way or another...

Higher GDP yet they can not feed their families and are literally begging for beans from the north to be shared as this is "fair"....
Exactly! @Bold
