It seems the Nigerian Consulate in the USA just resumed their Visa-issuing services, for those who want to travel to Nigeria.

I also believe the current isolation period is 7 days and not 14 weeks, after arrival in Nigeria. There are also particular Airlines and other COVID-19 conditions to be met. ( Check the relevant Government websites for more info)

Any other person with more information can let us know here.

I'm not very sure if Nigeria consulate is working in the US because my wife check or rather called them today to confirm if they have resumed but yhe said no. Her visa expires in April 2020 and she couldn't renew it due to covid-19 lockdown...

Good morning my people, please do anybody have any idea when the embassy will reopen. The waiting is becoming frustrating...

There are currently no interviews been granted and no given dates as at when they will start.

But it seems when they start interviewing one-on-one, priority might be given for those who intend to travel on Student Visas, because most schools will resume for the Fall Semester by mid-August.

Other classes of Visas will definitely also have their attention.

Good morning y'all fellow NVC stage members, my name is Jay, thank you so much for all the updates it really helped me a lot to know what to do at each stage. Please i humbly want to ask if i would be needing another Police character certificate by the time i got for the interview because the one i submitted was issued to me on the 19th of February 2020 and i submitted the whole documents and it was accepted on 20th Feb, so with this information about one has to present police character certificate three (3) months before interview. Please do i need to do another one. Thanks as i wait for responds.

The immunization will be done together with the rest medical test in the designated hospital they recommend. When it time for your medical, the hospital know exactly what they want. So you’ve nothing to worry about.

Thank you all, I am so satisfied with the updates I'm getting on here and honestly it's inspiring. I am waiting to be scheduled for interview. So i am confused about what immunization record they asked to bring at medicals as i do t have any immunization record or are they going to immunize at the medicals when i schedule appointment for medicals.
