phonedoctor:How much for it's screen replacement? |
JayPEG:Someone please reply this |
Guys, I have a touch screen issue with my Redmi 9c. Idk if anyone here experiences same thing. Sometimes, my screen just stop responding and I have to either turn off my screen, and turn it back on, or maybe shake and shake my phone before it can regain its touch. I noticed the screen stops responding majorly when I have my phone in a strange orientation (like lying down). My screen is perfectly okay, no cracks whatsoever. I didn't drop my phone too. So please, if anyon has any tip to share |
Kriss216:Wow, your reply just reminded me of one of my friends using a Redmi 8A. He also complained about his touch getting irresponsive at times, and that was only a few weeks before mine started. Do you think it might be a software problem? |
I forgot to add that there is no scratch whatsoever on the surface of my screen. |
My phone started misbehaving just recently. Before now, It has been working flawlessly since I first got it last year, and I made sure it never got drenched in water, or fall from my grip. These days, I’ll be on my phone and the next thing I notice, the screen stops responding. I want you to understand that this is not a lagging issue because even when the screen stops responding, it still updates itself. What do I mean? My data tariff counter at the top of my screen keeps changing, if I also happen to get a notification from any app, I get a drop-down message on my notification before then fading away quickly. if I happen to be watching a video before it happens, the video keeps playing but the screen won't respond to touch – hopefully, you see why I said it's not a lagging phone matter. How it started I remember trying out new options in my settings and seeing how they affect the functionality of my phone, just to make it smarter/more fun to use. Of all the new features I came across, the only one vividly, and perhaps the only feature that registers in my mind as the root of the problem is the popular ‘Pocket mode’ feature. Why do I say so? Because according to the description that comes along with the feature, It reads something like “Lock touch gestures when placed in the pocket” it also happens that my phone’s touch screen happens to go irresponsive whenever I'm holding my phone at a strange degree. So what now, since I’ve already discovered the problem? Toogling off the pocket mode only fixed my phone for a day, the issue kept repeating itself the next day, and the day after that, up until this very moment. I’ve changed my screen guard, I’ve cleaned my phone’s screen multiple times, I also didn’t leave the option of sun-drying it for a few hours – yet no improvement, instead it seems to be occurring more and more often each new day. Please, I need the advice of experts in the house, if you have a knack for jokes, or don’t have any tips to share, I strongly recommend you desist from saying any other thing on this post. God bless you all! |
