Gembu is far u will travel 7 hours from jalingo, its very cold thre the coldest place in naija, u can call it naija Europe all yr round. Though the big mountains thre are blocking the sun ray thereby bringing cold breeze. They ave fresh fruits, honey cheaper thre because it is a border town btw naija & Cameroon. My guy serves there but they are having network issue with mtn, even my area monkin zing lga I climb mountain to make call with mtn. but air tel glo strong here. my guy at kurmi lga said honey is cheap 25 litre is 7k, it is frm the farm and will start latest march. I will travel thre by March to see things then place other, I will send to port Harcourt my base. when time comes if interested I will inform u.my numb is 0708 961 9758. my mtn I use for whatsap is 07061222642.

The state is okay, cost of living is low and state pay 5k. Am serving at zing lga food stuffs are cheap here and also thre are business opportunities you can engage in while serving. In kurmi lga they ave natural honey at cheap price also cocoa is thre. Just that be ready for adventure cause the state get big landmass u will travel hours while coming here. cold is much also

Taraba is cool, cheap food, nice weather, thre camp is okay at the new site. No security challenge, but the place far wella cause of the big land mass.

am serving Corper in Gembu sadauna local government one of the most coolest place in African and highest mountain in west African Taraba is good but there are some local government far to each others and if u are not Jalingo and Gembu u will not enjoy Taraba even there some town u have to cross river even u have to observer whether b4u set on road so think twice be u stay

Hehe.. Congratulations. Welcomed to North East Nigeria. It's a wonderful place to be. Nysc is also what brought me there for the first time. I'm from rivers state and have never been to the north. Hence the first unusual thing I prepared for was the very long journey (about 14hrs) from PH to Jalingo. The place is good with a unique climate (extreme heat and extreme cold, sand storm), unique people, unique language and food, unique behaviors, etc. If you love trying or new stuffs, I think you'll definitely enjoy the place, trust me.
