I asked because i got a text saying there's a violation on my car and a link to check. I clicked on the link and i saw pictures plus a hand recorded video, like someone video the car while parked. Also this is on a sunday.

I open the website payvis to check for fine but it says 0 result. So I'm a bit confused.

This is what we were talking about here the other time, that police don't ask you some particular documents doesn't mean they won't ask one day.
Yes, the donbrowser oga mandated people to start renewing proof of ownership.
You may been free from their harassments because you don't travel outside Lagos, please try and get your court affidavit, police clearance, receipt of purchase and agreement between you and the previous owner.

Pls what's the way forward on this issue. I was stopped by the police early this morning and he ask for paper which I gave to him. He then said this is old proof of ownership as it has no expiring date on it. He then proceed and ask when I bought the car and if it's tokunbo or Nigeria used (I think this is where I fk up with my response, and shot myself in the leg). To cut the story short I had to settle him with 3k before he allow me go. He then told me next time I should let them know I bought the car as tokunbo and the new proof of ownership will be available after the current one expires and if it's fairly use I'll need affidavit and police report to back it up, but we know as police operate they will still find way to pin you. NB: The car in question is Nigeria Used, same with all previous car used.

This is the first time I'm experiencing this as my previous cars once they check the paper they always tell me to go so this one was surprising to me.

What's the way out in this situation

I have a camry 2007, that I use for ehailing when I'm free from work, but due to financial constraint on a project, I plan to sell the car and get a lower car that can convey my family and as well continue the e hailing hustle when free from work. So I can get funds to finish up the project and as well still have a car.

Question:
1) Can I get a good car within 3-4m budget, any brand as long as it can serve me for a long time plus easy maintenance? If yes, can I know the brands.

2) is it possible to realize around 1.5m-2m after selling the toyota camry 2007 and get a lower one?

Yes i have, the rewire did all he could but the issue wasnt resolved, so he ended up saying the speedometer is bad, I'll need to get another one but due to time constrain it couldnt work on saturday so we fix later this week but surprisingly when I start the car yesterday the dashboard lights came up.

Although I had issue with my car battery so I have been using a rented one (when i need to go out), can the battery be the culprit?

Going to see a rewire today. The dashboard light wasnt dimmed mistakenly.

For the speedometer that is stagnant - consult with your rewire.
For the dashboard light that doesn't come up - check if you have not dimmed the light by mistakenly rolling down the dimming switch.

Please who has experienced this and what was the solution: This evening I start my car and noticed the dashboard light didn't come up I also rev the car and speedometer didn't move as well. Pointer and check engine light work everywhere light doesn't come up.

I asked this question because i was stopped by police this morning and he asked if Im uber i said yes. Then he proceed to check papers then told me if Im uber then my paper shouldnt be register as private. This is why i asked the question.

I wasn't delayed or disturb tho, just gave me the paper back and said I can go
