I don't think the prize money is as much as 1.5 million naira. That was the total prize for last year event. I believe HITBOX Games in Surulere managed the gaming competition for the event last year - TECHPlus 2015 at Eko Hotel.
This year the TECHPlus 2016 is being managed by a different organization called NGE - Naija Game Evo. The cash prize was not disclosed like last year, so i sense there may be something off here...and maybe it isn't as much as that for last year.
