yeah, there is chemistry on its own as a course under faculty of Science and education:chemistry as another under a different faculty

Is it compulsory you attend UI? If it's not ,I'll advice you choose OAU if the rest of your olevels are good..my friend could have made MBBS if he had chosen OAU..UI's policy is for those who have distinctions in their five relevant subjects.Assuming,you had B3's in the other three subjects,you've accumulated 40% out of 100 which means you only need to score 280+ in jamb all things being equal.. For your second question,I don't think any school in Nigeria allows transfer from BDS to MBBS and vice versa..

though am not yet officially a uite,lemme answer yr questions.
firstly,...yeah u will be admitted for MBBS if u beat the ELDS cut off and u are from an ELDS state.
secondly......yeah,there are some people this year,that didn't meet d cut off for MBBS and didn't do Coc but were given another course
thirdly....d waec result u listed above will amount to 33.3335% out of 100%,and according to ui's cut off for medicine this year(which is 76.75%),u will need additional 43.42%(that is based on non-increment of d cut off next year)which means u nid an approximate mark of 350 for jamb.
so back to d answer of d third question,I don't think u will be admitted for it.
ADVICE-go for another course.probably one under college of medicine with less cut off and less competition.
4th question-hv heard people speculating this year abt the impossibility of crossing to medicine from a course not under college of medicine.so I don't think u will be able to cross from BDS to mbbs.

SCREENING
you have 28.33% over 50% as your waec point according to the result you gave above
what ever you get in jamb would determine your total grade point.

going by your calculations and ui's cutoff for dentistry this year(which is 64.23,approximately 65)he will need 65%+ aggregate to be on d safe side,so therefore,u have to score above 300 in jamb for u to be admitted.

I think I finally understand wat DAT statement is:
If u have printed yr admission letter from jamb website,u would notice it has three pages,in which two of d pages has d admission letter on it,the 2nd page is d "candidate's copy of the admission letter" and the 3rd page is d "institution copy of the admission letter".
It took a lot of tym to figure it out.

I hope u all HV heard d commencement of d printing of jamb admission letter.

This is a really negative statement. They picked just 2272 names. There is likely going to be a supplementary list. UI should be able to accommodate more than just 2000 student. Besides are u in d admissions department to tell someone that there is no hope?

the total list is 3598 not 2272 names.

use a certified or recognised browser,maybe like Mozilla Firefox in doing,I also tried creating mine another browser but wasn't successfully until I used Firefox.

guy if ui wanted to release d list today,they would HV notified/display notice of it an hour or two prior to d release.so if u say they are gonna release it today,u are just putting everyone on a long thing.
