Foreign Affairs / Re: Julius Malema Supporters Beat Up Whites Protesting 'Racist' Song in SA (PICS) by JC2021: 7:14pm On Aug 05, 2023 |
Amarisco:So you have no issue with Malema's group beating up some white men as reported simply because a black Pan-African political celebration was going on? What the white did to black South Africans in the past was bad and very condemnable, but the beatings and murderous chants at the rally as reported should be condemned by all. The Nazi movement started in similar fashion; first it was deep-rooted hatred towards the Jews who they see as common enemies, then open condemnations started which resulted to the never to be forgotten genocide. |

Politics / Re: Senate Rejects Motion To Release Nnamdi Kanu by JC2021: 7:37am On Jul 27, 2023 |
It's really disappointing that some Nigerians are supporting the motion to keep MNK locked up despite court orders ordering his release. Do you guys realise we have 3 independent arms of government? The Executive has been disregarding and disrespecting the judiciary for years, now the senate has joined, yet some of you won't see an issue because of your blind supports for some so-called political parties and strong men that keep ensuring that the country doesn't move forward due to their interests. I am more convinced that this country won't move forward with these current crops of citizens who instead of fighting for strong institutions would rather fight and die for strong individuals (politicians). The past generation and the current one have failed this nation, maybe our children's generation would do better. |

Education / Re: Naira Devaluation: Nigerian Students Face Tough Times In UK,Tuition Soars By 60% by JC2021: 12:37am On Jul 14, 2023 |
MT: No matter how good the intentions of this current administration are, if no concrete step is taken towards fighting corruption to a stand still, things would only get worse. The China you mentioned didn't rise by keeping a blind eye at corruption, they fought and killed for it. Since BAT came onboard, I haven't seen anything or heard any practical anti-corruption plan from him and his team. So tell me how his good "intentions" would work out, especially when old and new thieves visit Aso Rock on daily basis for God knows what. |

Food / Re: Why Did Nigerians Stop Drinking Tap/Borehole Water? by JC2021: 2:06pm On Jun 24, 2023 |
I live in the city My family and I still drink from borehole. We fetch the water and pour into the water filter machine, then we fetch into plastic bottles and put in the refrigerator. We have been doing this for years and no problem. At least it's safer than most "pure" water sold out there. |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My Experience With A Lady I Hired And Fired Last Week by JC2021: 8:28pm On May 22, 2023 |
I have come to realise lately that many are not ready to work. Many of the so-called jobseekers are very entitled, they want the best working conditions, yet lack basic work ethics. Whenever I hear of unemployment, I laugh. There are jobs, but many of those seeking are very incompetent with unrealistic expectations and high self worth. Many want to start from the top, ignoring the process of working bottom to top. All want to work in big companies, forgetting the big companies were once small and unstructured. Unless we realise as a people the value of legal works and develop positive work ethics, I'm sorry, the future of this country is scary. 2 Likes |

OP, if you want us to take you serious, kindly answer the questions in this thread and complete it. You said your laptop got spoilt and you would be back to continue, months after, no update from you and you have created new threads after. The same way you promised on one of your threads that it would be the final, but I checked and saw 2 new threads after that. Please stay true to your words if you want to be taken serious. |

You said Juliet still have like 4 years to finish school. What's the guarantee that she would want to settle for you before or after 4 years? You don't even know these ladies deeply enough to make an informed choice. Please don't make a life changing decision until u know them well enough. Marry who you are most comfortable with. Marry who you can accept her shits and who can manage with yours. Go for compatibility not beauty or any other superficial reasons. I have seen who married a former prostitute and they are happy today. I have seen who got married to a lazy woman and is surprisingly happy. I have seen happy men married to not so good looking women. Compatibility, understanding, not love and beauty ensure best marital experience. 1 Like 1 Share |

Police drinking alcohol is not new. It's a common occurrence at joints close to any police station. Go to POWA market in Ikeja, you will see police men as early as 5:30am to 6am taking hot gin before duty. 2 Likes |
