You can look at the University's Short Term Accommodation. However, I think these won't be available after September 1, since you mentioned you will leave at the end of the month.

You could also search for a hotel. But it is possible to get a place after arriving in September. The prices might be on the high-side; however, you might get lucky.

Speaking of accommodation however, I have a room in a 3 bedroom apartment close to the University, if you're interested. You can send a mail if you want. Cheers.

To any UOttawa/Other canadian varsity/college scholar in the building, clarifications needed - I haven't gotten accommodation though I have applied to the school. I would be leaving for Canada at the end of the month. QUESTION: What make shift accommodation can someone get as soon as you get to Canada or when do you hunt for the accommodation in Ottawa. [Just in case the school doesn't reply before I leave for canada] huh
