Nairaland General › Re: How Much Will It Cost To Fens Two Plots Of Land? by Jcob(m): 3:47pm On Oct 16, 2016 |
A plot will cost you average of N500k to fence including a good gate and 8 coaches fencing using 6 inches block. For 2 plots, just try and get N750k to N800k as you wont need any extra gate on the second plot and also the middle wall wont be needed to divide the land. |

AlanSugar: Why 9 inches blocks for a bungalow? For the foundation and external form work. |
Properties › Re: How Much Will It Cost To Lay The Foundation (only) Of A 3 Bedroom Flat by Jcob(m): 7:13am On Oct 16, 2016 |
OK, let's spend the 200k!
Granite 15 tons - N60,000
Sharp Sand 20 tons - N48,000
500 pieces of 9 inches block @ N150 each - N75,000.
Then go look for money for 30 bags of cement, Digging, workmanship and the rest.
Just budget total average of N400k for the foundation on a flat surface dry land. |

majekdom2: Pay is always according to structure and should be competitive. The OP never asked her employer to pay what he/ she can't bear. What the employer should ask himself or herself is, does this pay match the structure, does the position match business need. Instead of creating a bad image of being an "employer " it's best one sees that the position is very necessary and it is what someone already in the company cannot do. It's as simple as that. You perhaps didn't understand the OP's message. Why declare a huge PAT when employees are not well paid. It does not bring the best out of an employee. I concur! |
Career › Re: Employers Stop Frustrating Us!!! Cry Of A Nigerian Youth. by Jcob(m): 8:28pm On Sep 04, 2016 |
majekdom2: This is not the argument. I am running a successful one. No successful business man comes to say his employees are useless. When awards are won, you see CEO say publicly that the award is for the employees because they are the ones doing the JOB. There are times where businesses make a losses but that's not to say it's the fault of the employees. It's part of the business process. Prolly you are running a shop with 2 or 3 employees that perhaps are typist and that's why you think employees do nothi in an organisation. It could be tough for SME' but that's not to say it's employees are useless. Tomorrow being Monday, since you think your employees are useless, sack them, don't recruit new ones and see if that your business won't fold up. Mr Man I never said they are useless. My own ideology is you can't say because they are the pillar of the company then you should pay them what the company cannot bear. So many expenses to consider! By the way since you run a successful biz, how much do you pay your staff? Don't lie! |

majekdom2: Crap, the bolded is why you have been and will keep borrowing to pay salary. Oya now, since the employees are doing less, sack all of them and run your business alone. What you do is decision-making and probably drive in contracts because of the contacs you may have. Now, when the contracts comes, who does it, if the job fails whose is it. You may need to attend or re attend the business school I you have. I am 100 percent sure you've never ran a successful business before! |

DMeanMan: This your post is radical and contributes nothing to the topic.
The op opened the thread to voice her anger on being offered 25K per month and you're here saying employees get paid the exact value of what they add.
Pls don't tell me you're so delusional to believe "every employee gets paid what value they add".
Like the OP said, please have a conscience. English is a problem. Read my post clearly sire |

Oga Op, God will elevate you to the position of an employer so you will understand how sweet the position is. You are just considering your own salary without looking at the compound picture of how many people to be paid per month, operational cost, maintenance, etc.
I can't count how many times have borrowed to pay salaries and employees would still think you are under paying.
When you have your own business, pay each worker N200,000 per month to justify their work.
No matter what the employee inputs, the employer still inputs more and to make the business a going concern, cost should be well managed! |

There is nothing wrong with your child. I guess he started school late hence keeping to him self in school this period. At age 4, he should be in Nursery 1. Truth is everything taught in school his sticking to his brain and can reproduce in a warm environment (Teacher and co pupils).
Visit the school and see how the teacher relates with them. At that stage, teaching should be individual based and not general. What is the age range of those in the class and well does he relate with his mates.
The teacher in school can be of help by using incentives and motivation methods to make him crawl out of his shell. HE is just being shy!
You can also involve the proprietor or proprietress of the school. |
