Has anybody on this thread gone 9 months without receiving any decision on their study permit application

Hello, is it normal not to get correspondence from IRCC two months after submitting the requested medicals. On the application tracker, it shows only the background verification section is still in progress with everything else completed. I want to ask if there is anything i can do at this point.
