@Eeyore,

It seems to me as though JEGBADON is having this kind of feeling that he has gone past this level of relating with some of us that are still in the waiting list of LAFARGE! I don't think it cost him (Jegbadon) anything more than "10 minutes" to give the needed update if he really wants to associate with the house any further - I might be wrong.

In the absence of negativity, I implore him (Jegbadon) to kindly thread the path of ONYEKA and BARONCY by updating the house i.e Being the most current CANDIDATE that was invited by the management of LAFARGE - As far as this forum is concerned.

Eeyore, my pal! Don't worry, we'll soon hear from JEGBADON. May be he is trying to put some other necessary things in place; just may be.

Let's be hopeful.
Oh my guys sorry for the absence i actually was taken to a typical bush in the south south region for an assignment my my company so i never had to come on line to update us about my last encounter with lafrage but u uld also know that its unlike me.
Well we did saw the plant manager at Ewekaro and had a brief interview again with him myself and five others but well it was not that tough but at least a minimum of 25-30Min's was spent on each of us.

Finally i am happy to announce to the house that i got my appointment letter on Monday and the working condition is OK to me and like i said in most of my posts on this thread that the battle is still on as it will never be over until we all get there. so i pray and wish that all of us who ve been on this fight will definitely get there.

Remember the project is big enough to accommodate everyone of us as there are more and more expansions and areas of interest. God bless us all as i will still be following this thread and contribute where necessary,

@Eeyore,

Much as I share your pain, I wish to inform you that you are not alone in the waiting game. If applicants
personalities, current job status, qualification and years of experience actually matter as Onyeoka has made
us believe; Lafarge wouldn't have shortlisted all concerned like they did in the first place.

Do I need to remind you that this same organization claim to have placement for even the inexperience, in their
website? Why would the management of such establishment now start engaging in selection of calumny if I
may ask?

Besides, the decision of Lafarge to have sent you a result, after the test, means that you are still relevant; they
would have wasted their resources on you if they considered your journey over with them.
If you'll trust in your ability and have this strong conviction that what is yours will definitely come to you then,
you'll worry less. Like I once said to Jegbadon: "if you are destined to work in Lafarge, surely, you'll get called".

It is too early to say you are OUT, brother. Never say never for, you might be wrong!

Kind regards, pal.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM its happens sometimes, he is right i am almost getting my appointment will conclude my medicals tomoro
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Lafarge Wapco/dragnet Aptitude Test by jegbadon: 6:05pm On Sep 16, 2010
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm thewarlord is very currect cos this guys are no nonsense guys, they will bring outr the technicality in you and ur hrt will tell you ur performance instantly. but onething i will say is this KEEP ALL HOPES ALIVE we shall all get there by the grace of God which is special.

For all non technical field, i still also will say here that when you are invited you will meet people of your areas and the drilling with not be different just be mindfull of the cv you submitted to them thats your main guide.

Wish everyone success the project is big enough for us all.

God bless.

^^^^^

Thanks for the info & welcome back, jegbadon. I know we can always count on you and your insider. Lol

But didn't he specify the positions that were interviewed last week? Crane operators? Sales? Or admin??

This little bit would go a long way in diffusing this waiting pressure, you know.

ONE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha Eeyore i don't have an insider i only did a wise thing by pinning someone whom was my school mate back then oh. well you will agree with me that the interview is now conducted in their Lagos office and after the technical fields are done people like my friend Eeyore will be invited for HRM that's administrative i guess.
Tosin things are definitely working for good. It will soon be over the project is large enough to accommodate all of us.

Cheers house mates.

Hi Guys i ve been away for a while now and back to continue on this thread again. Blue, Eyore and others whats up? I got an insider informing that some guys had their interview last week precisely on the 2nd or so and this brings back may intial comment when i said all hopes should not be thrown away. I also learnt that the actual project to which they are recruiting for will commence next year but can not place when they will conclude their recruitment.

I want all hopefuls to join in the crusade of prayers for the will of God to be done as we hope for the best in this.

Cheers guys its really good to be back.

Jegbadon my maaaaan!

Why are you bringing class struggle into this game of ours now? Much as I understand your curiosity, I wish to
remind you that, larger percentage of those that were examined by the same company are yet to be interviewed.

"COOLU TEMPER!" i.e if you are destined to work in LARFAGE, your call up can only be delayed but for sure, you'll get called.
Until then, I appeal that we make do with EEYORE's page rather than making those that are yet to be interviewed feel so unsafe.

Besides, we'll not have to go through the rigour of reading through different templates on a particular topic. It is my prayer that God
reward our efforts beyond expectation

No hard feeling, brother.
Thanks guy there is no ill feelings i just tought that those of us that went for the interview should make comments since two weeks its over but since you guys felt bad about this thread i will revert to the previosu one soi we ca be contributing. Ones again i say thanks to all.

@ jegbadon

Congrats, first off. Do you have any idea of the range of scores at the interview? I mean, any 30 something % or 40 to 45% invited??

I just want to establish some pattern in the interview invitations.
Thanks so much for your words. well from the look of things there was hardly any body less than 40% in that interview but i only observed that your CV may play the most important role towards your invitation, i also had the opportunity of charting with a young guy there that told me that during his time some people of less than 40% were invited that the most important thing is he content of the CV that really counts. so keep the hope alive.

How did your interview go, and any idea if anyone apart from Engineers had/are having interviews too??
I just got home at exactly 8.30pm. as regards your questions, it was only Engrs that came thats why i said you should not loose hope. My interview went very fine, Its now for God to conclude.

@ Eeyore,
It is obvious that you are having a prolapse; just that I can't really tell, which of your body parts is being affected the most - It takes a gibbon to identify a troll. I'd expected you to paste that awkwardly echoed text message of your for house to see; at least, to drive home your point.

@ Jegbadon,
Don't get it twisted; I'm not dyslexic. The timing of the information supplied by "BUKA" (king of the clowns); as well as his claim that he was expressly told in a text message that he passed, actually impaired my judgement about you - The interval between the time he posted the topic for discussion and that which he used to alert the house of his status was rather too short.

Of course, you won't blame me for raising the consciousness of the forum members; owing to the fact that those fifth columnists in the house never see anything wrong in taking advantage of the innocent applicants at any slightest shot - Pardon my blunder; it's never intentional.

The decision to declare any applicant successful, in any given test, lies solely with the employer; based on the overall performance.

Jegbadon, I'm very sorry if my comment hurt you so badly; really I am. Do accept my apology.
I inderstand no problem its one of does things

Congrats, dude. Where's the venue? Ewekoro?? I could be wrong, but I'm guessing they are starting with engineering/technical batch first.

I applied for Human Resources Officer, but I've not been invited for interview yet. I don't know if anybody has been invited for that position.

This waiting is the part I hate the most. The suspense turns me into a semi - . Dang!!!!!!
Everything will be fine Dude, never give up cos its not over, there was an intv i went to 2months ago after getting to the last stage i was told the MD is out of the country still i commited it in prayers cos to me i prefare the place its an O&G coy, just today i got a text to be preferred to see the MD, pls house mate the struggle is still on lets not give up.
