Please who knows how or where I can borrow a loan of 4m to start a biz, without collateral.
This is the moment I honestly wish I could access my pension. It makes no sense to me that one has to wait until retirement or demise to use his pension – money that can be invested today in a biz or investment to secure the future |

Mine is: A year or more after NYSC i met a Lady while job hunting in Enugu, at 7up Bottling coy. She took my CV and next thing I saw was an invite in Lagos for an interview. Coincidentally, defunct Oceanic bank had scheduled me for an aptitude test in Enugu, same week as the 7up interview in Lagos.
I wanted to go for the 7up own in Lagos, but my Mom – who at that time, was mourning over the demise of our father, became apprehensive and begged me not to go that far , instead I should consider the bank aptitude test in Enugu, being that it's within the state we lived.
What would a naive boy do...I listened to her and considered going for the bank apt. test in Enugu over the 7up job interview.
Low and behold, the aptitude test was cancelled on the day of the test and never rescheduled. I quickly called 7up to pull one or two strings but was told another person had been considered as I didn't show up. And that's how I lost the two opportunities – family sentiments.
Worst part is that, after I reached out to the lady that assisted me with the opportunity over my situation, she confided that I would have gotten that job anyways but I chose the one nearby.
Well, I forgave my mom, forgave even myself but it's been hard to erase. I'm still paying for it till today doing jobs to jobs.
Lesson: Don't always think the easier, nearer, closer ones are better over distance. There's always a hidden treasure in the hard - to - reach ones |

LowKeyManny: For the young kings, never spend your first big bag on family. I paid so much black tax and ended back where I came from, like I never left because I wanted to be a 'good child'. Paid over 6 million worth of loans for my mum. Spent another 3 million trying to set her up. All went down the drain. Funny thing, the stupid hag keeps calling me for loans I know nothing about. While I am quietly drowning. Lol. I work with my dad. Made profit of about 150m during the period I was trying to set up my mum (thinking my cut from the 100m would be for me to set up myself). My pops bought me an SUV in my name for #13m as a 'surprise'. And that was it. Not even 1 kobo from the 100m for maintenance or fuel. Lol.
My boss I've been working with for about 3 years now. Can't ask for more loyalty. I fucking bashed my SUV from my other hustle, chasing money with my boss, expecting some mad funds to roll in. After we lost over #450m in last minute dropped deals in 2025, I tried not to mount financial pressure on my boss. But tell me why I casually saw payment receipts from 2024 issued by the office to the govt ministry when I did all the work and my boss been acting like the ministry hadn't paid all this while. The job was small sum. #10m. meant to be a start for bigger contracts. And my Voss received #7m since 2024. I didn't even know. Lol.
It hurts. But we live and we learn. Walai. If the roles were reversed, I wouldn't treat any of these people the way they treated me.
Last last na only yourself you know. These numbers you mentioned have a way of making one ask God to connect him with you, you know? Lol Sorry about your own regret. However, if you can and convenient for you, abeg connect me.... your own regret na success for some of us |

Only married men can understand his situation better. For those of you blaming him here and there, Men pls take care of yourself. So many married women don't know how not to stress their husbands. One reason men die first, and the women are left behind to train the children – which in many cases, can't fit in the man's shoes |

seunmsg: This news ordinarily should elicit optimistic and positive reactions from all sensible Nigerian. Since the IMF published the stats, folks who primarily come from the SE have done everything humanly possible to attack and condemn the news. While Chinese, Indians and nationals of other countries mentioned in the top ten went under the tweet to project their countries positively, these set of Nigerians who support Peter Obi went under the tweet to attract IMF and world of statistics.
South African and a lot of Europeans went under same tweet to bash their government for not doing enough to make the top ten. In fact, some Europeans appealed to IMF to present the EU as a country so that the EU can make the top ten. That’s how much other countries value the achievement. But in Nigeria, these haters are attacking everybody because Nigeria achieved what a lot of other countries are struggling to achieve. They are so pained and angry.
Sadly for them, our economic growth is on a very high trajectory. It is unstoppable. The country shall continue to get better and they shall continue to get angry. At this time in life, I think we can just make a simple comment or addition without provoking the sensibilities of others. There are people everywhere – some will like you, while some will not – just move on with positivity. People who don't like you may one day be infected by the positivity. Tribal sentiments isn't doing this generation any good |

Typical Nigerians. So no one saw the inbound shot intercepted accidentally by Bassey's hand in the 18 yard box. That was goal-bound and should have been a penalty but the referee overlooked it. Nigeria did not play way – they lost possession and hardly created any chances |

Now you want to monitor and prevent suicide caused by your government. What about building centres or channels people with suicide - filled minds can go to, where they have the chance to meet with psychotherapists that can help them , rather than putting two Hilux vehicles standby for emergency response. Remember, this FG's initiative is for suicide cases happening around 3rd Mainland Bridge. Obviously that's not the only place suicide can happen in this country |

CodeTemplarr: A very daft interview from thuggar. He is fo.olishly trying to lay the blame back on America and NATO allies by blaming their last intervention in the sahel as the trigger that has caused insecurity here. No wonder the usual nairaland APC bots are waxing lyrical for the daft thing Was it Libya that caused army to be supporting the terrorists to kidnap Christian farmers? Or Libya caused them not round up the terrorists. Libya also caused the govt to sentence peope acting on self defence to death. Libya helped the lynching of Deborah. Libya helped herders attack farmers. This is a daft interview. I was surprised oo as some people here are hailing his responses. The second question he was asked he didn't even answer - he dodged it. These Americans are not stupid: when you don't answer a sensitive question properly, it's a tacit indictment of what they are accusing Nigeria of |
