Africankel: If the purpose of travel is official and not tourism, send a letter via DHL to the High Commission.
If it is tourism, wait it out. Application processing takes up to three months. Hello, please can you help? It has now been 64 days since any response or feedback was received on this visa application. What can I do? I've tried helping her check the VFS Global tracker, but it keeps displaying 'invalid input'. Is there any way to contact the embassy for an update? |

hunee: Hi, Good morning. Evisa applications are not the same as the physical ones. So, please proceed with the online one you were on earlier. Whilst you await the outcome of the physical application.
The good thing is that you have an alternative now. Hopefully, either of them will come.
"If you have uploaded all documents before, ignore it. It's an automated message. Goodluck Hi Hunee I just got this response today from the Embassy on my staffs evisa. Why do you think it was rejected, do you think I should appeal or just wait for the outcome on the physical VFS process. Thanks, looking forward to your thoughts Much appreciated

Please help!! @hunee
On the 26th of April, I tried to apply for an Evisa for my staff on the E portal however, this was around the time that the payment process was not working, so at the point of payment,t I git the blank processing page, just like other fonts here have complained. So I proceeded to the VFS appointment on the 2nd of May, where she went to physically submit her application.
She is yet to receive her passport back from the Embassy however, she forwarded an email notification she received from the SA Embassy today stating "correspondence for your attention - EVisa Application" (attached below). I went to the Evisa portal and noticed that the application that I initially tried to submit for her on the 26th of April, which wouldn't submit due to non-completion of payment, had magically submitted and been marked as paid. I clicked on the application reference, and I saw that it had the "eye icon" marked - Required Documents - 1st Notice. Upon clicking on that, it downloaded a letter stating that she should submit all corresponding documents for her application (which I had already initially submitted for her). Please see below for reference.
My question is, should I just ignore, since she's already submitted her application through VFS, or should I go ahead and reupload documents? How do I go about doing so, because the e-visa portal isn't allowing me to reupload documents?

hunee: I always tell people to fix their applications first with appeals first before reapplying for France visas(in cases where they get rejected) It is a technical approach towards a reapplication OR betterstill, send an appeal to their mail acknowledging your errors and informing them of your intentions to reapply in future when circumstances change. There are usually different approach to this visa thing depends on your strategy.
On your reapplication, ensure to attach that email copy of the appeal you sent, a recommendation letter from the police station , YES , a recommendation from a police station may shock everyone, but it is good approach too and an affidavit of return drafted by your lawyer(more like a recommendation letter)
If you follow this carefully, you should score a goal this time. This is the clarity you need (Proof of sufficient ties and recommendations) Please can you share the email, that one should send such appeal letter to Thank you, |

hunee: Don't continue with this 425 rands payment. It been like that for some weeks according to the report on the Facebook.
Funniest, Home Affairs being a notorious institution has not posted one single memo online about this.
People's monies keep getting debited. Use VFS. All the best Please, can you share the link to the Facebook where the complaints are been made I want to track to see when there will be a resolve |

adefreshguy: Good Day Everyone, please i will like to confirm if i am the only one having issues with payment on eHome Page for eVisa. i get debited and still no successful message or failed message from the payment page to redirect me to the main page. I'm equally facing the same thing and I used my laptopI've been deducted twice; the first time, I thought it was my bank, so I tried again. |
