mamagee3: Listen, I have other family members both male and female and none of their mutual friends ever sent me a DM or any friend request….
It’s just her…so, I know for a fact she’s the architect of the whole thing…
What are the chances of a random person from a relative sending you a friend request and a DM? The chances are zero to one million...
RenaissanceGuy: Judging by your logic, if Kwara people were Yoruba or the Okun people were Yoruboid, they would have been classed with the south west, and not north central.
Guyman wan chop. Lawyers on the beat again If they are successful, will they recall the remaining 26 lawmakers? The speakership will still remain with Wike's camp
overall90: What nonsense are you saying? Who are the people of Rivers state that don't want Fubara? You and your type should stop misleading Nigerians. It should be known that up to October 2023 when the house wanted to impeach the governor,he didn't have any problem with them and still doesn't have if not for Wike who according to himself purchased their expression of interest forms and therefore they must answer to him according to the oath they have taken in their coven. And what was Wike problem,he said Fubara who was barely five months in office has taken over his structure, and what was the structure,he wants to be receiving 25% of Rivers revenue. I think the supreme court should have included in that judgement that 25% of Rivers money should go to Wike so that him and you people will allow us rest.
You sound has if all was said and done in your presence. No politician will allow his structure to be taken away from him without putting up a fight
phantomxx: Don't worry Sir OKABA...... I DARE Tinubu and Wike to give the go ahead for his impeachment!!
The gods of the Niger Delta are hungry for blood!!! Those who want to satisfy their urge for Tinubu/Wike are welcome to do so!! 😂.. enough said!!
NB: Ronu, please your attention is needed on the thread where Tinubu has asked Obasa be left alone. Go there and lend your voices!! Fubara is not your business!!
Hungry for whose blood Wike's ,Fubuara's or any of their children's?? I no wan noise when Python begins to dance at Rivers state
SeraphicWind: Nairaland moderators, please respect my right to free speech. I have every right to post what does not break the rule of Nairaland. I am totally responsible for everything I am posting.
Rivers Politics and her control belongs to the people of Rivers state alone. Only them have the powers to choose who their governor is. Nyesom Wike, you cannot be the governor of Abuja and Rivers at the same time.
Enough with the politics of wickedness and acrimony. Nyesom Wike must never be allowed to bully Fubara. We reject such proposal with every force of heaven.
Rather than Fubara leave, Wike will collapse and go for judgement.
Nyesom Wike have arrogated Godly powers to himself. He thinks he is God! But heavens will proove to Nyesom Wike that he is a mere mortal! Power belongs to God almighty alone! He will face DIVINE JUDGEMENT IMEDDIATELY IN JESUS NAME. AMEN!
Fubara, stand firm and strong. Never allow them to get you afraid. It is a battle of heaven and hellish. God has never lost a single battle since time immemorial. The heavens will wipe out Wike and all his minions from Nigeria in Jesus name. Amen.
Stop the childishness... What played out between God and Satan?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L-WfFiuy74 Fubara: Gentlemen of the Press, I am here by myself this morning with few members of my Executive Council to comply with the Supreme Court Judgement. Before my arrival, I had already made several attempts by phone calls to the Speaker and other members. I also did a letter personally which was transmitted to the Honourable Speaker for this particular invitation but it's unfortunate you can see that the gates is completely sealed and there is no sign anything is going to happen today.
The reason why we Are doing this, I have always said it's for the interests of our people which is the most important thing. Well, I don't think there is anything to be worried about, maybe they are working on the letter. I expect to hear from them after this.
Whys is the Governor playing the victim card ?? His advance teams must have informed him about the situation at the venue before his arrival. Besides, both parties need to agree on a date before budget can be presented . Is the RSHA sitting at their official complex or at a private property? If what happened today happened at a private property, the Governor goofed.
LEGALSER: Lolz. This man which Peace? You guys are looking for a way to pocket Fubara but no way. I've said it countless times that even if Fubara does not have a single supporter in the House of Assembly, you cannot impeach him. There are a lot at stake and all they can do is threaten him but you cannot impeach him even Wike knows this. Unless you want to put fire in Rivers State over night. Impeach Fubara and see how things will go wrong over night. Make una dey talk about una yeye Peace. Fubara will complete his 8years.
Nothing will happen, unless you want Python to dance
Abdulsomad7: In a surprising move, the Governor of Anambra State has directed newly elected council chairmen to stay away from their offices amid an ongoing crisis. The governor's directive comes after the recent local government elections in the state.
1. I am standing on point of law. Thank God, the LG Election was successful throughout the 30 LGAs, from Ife to Iragbiji, from Ilesa to Iwo, from Osogbo to Obokun. The aggrieved should head to Court with the evidence unfortunately the APC/APM/LP cannot do that because they withdrew from the heavily-contested election.
2. You call me funny, for 8 years you did the unthinkable for Adeleke, even when everyone maligned you here, you were known as the sole defender of the Adeleke mandate. To call me funny is ironic. after Adeleke lost at the tribunal in 2023, I was always analysing the cases before the Appeal & Supreme Court's, much to your delight, likes and sharing but now una business no work out, I don be sabinus.
3. You had a gig and agreement with the PDP, it didn't work out, how is that my making? It's happened to me before so I feel for you but your rabid support against him will change nothing, Osunlites will decide. You insisted the LG election will not hold, results are been compiled as we speak and inauguration will take place on Sunday.
4. Again I am standing on point of law, that the APC LG Chairmen/Councillors remain sacked.
So we now have 60 LG Chairmen for 30 LGs in Osun state. Coming weeks will be interesting
Some Hidden Truths The IBB's Autobiography Didn't Reveal.
The annulment of the June 12 presidential election was marked by diverse political interests and intrigues within and outside the military. It's reported that there was an unwritten agreement between General Ibrahim Babangida (IBB) and General Sani Abacha to rule the nation in turns. This understanding motivated Abacha to thwart the Orkar coup, as a successful coup would have ended his presidential ambitions.
IBB, a northern minority, relied on Abacha's stronghold for support. The two generals had been friends and course mates for years, with Abacha playing a crucial role in IBB's rise to power. Conducting the June 12, 1993 election was another strategic move gone wrong. The military's intention was to deceive Nigerians into believing they were willing to relinquish power to a democratically elected government.
However, things took a twist when MKO Abiola's influence on the polity became unstoppable. This created a dilemma for the military, particularly IBB and Abacha. During the June 12 crisis, there were three factions within the Nigeria Army: IBB's faction, Abacha's faction in Lagos, and the Dogonyaro faction.
As the impasse deepened, IBB set up a committee headed by Dogonyaro to negotiate with the Abacha group. However, Abacha became enraged when he learned about the mission, feeling that IBB had disrespected him by sending a junior officer. The Lagos group then mobilized to frustrate Dogonyaro's mission.
Upon returning to IBB with a failed mission, Dogonyaro suggested conducting another general election within three months. IBB became critical and suspicious of Dogonyaro's intentions, knowing that holding a fresh election within such a short period was impossible. Abacha, already infuriated by IBB's apparent willingness to relinquish power, became even more enraged by Dogonyaro's suggestion.
IBB favored General John Shagaya to succeed him but knew that Abacha's consolidated group would not accept this. This would have led to coups and counter-coups, resulting in significant bloodshed. To avoid this, IBB described Abacha as a complex personality, acknowledging his enigmatic and unpredictable nature.
The Interim National Government (ING) headed by Ernest Shonekan was subsequently established. IBB knew that Abacha would eventually remove Shonekan, and this move was orchestrated to ensure IBB's safe exit from power.
On the civilian side, MKO Abiola had stepped on the toes of powerful individuals who opposed his presidency. The northern emirs viewed him as a threat due to his significant influence on the polity. Some western bigwigs also opposed his presidency, and these external forces ultimately ensured that MKO's presidency never materialized.
These are your personal opinions. Can you please give us facts? You said that these were reported!!!!
You see the problem, you are comparing grapes and apples.
Peter Obi reclaimed his mandate because the Supreme Court held that the election was not supposed to have held since his tenure wasn't over. In this case, a Court of Appeal judgement have said that the election that produced these LG Chairmen/Councillors was faulty, invalid, illegal and unconstitutional. So can you place something on nothing?
Please, which Court of Appeal Judgement are you talking about?
Bro, i can feel your pain and there is no way you can ever forget that. The choice to overcome the trauma is solely yours. No one can help you to forget the experience. Face the reality on ground and move on. Put her at where you think and believe she should be and give thorough considerations to your children's welfare so that it won't affect them. For some reason, my family ( aunts and cousins) back in Nigeria don’t ever want to call me but they are always on my Facebook page sending requests or hitting the follow button…
But in real life when they ask my mother about me and they are told to call me, they tell a lie such as “Her number is not working or connecting” or “I lost her number”
But I receive calls all day on that number…Such a weird feeling.
Guilty conscience or you are unfriendly to them from the onset.
