A reply after three months! So sorry to learn about the delay. Please share your experience with the house, let us all brainstorm.
I am just wondering if there is an observable pattern in the way the CIC responds to applications. These are my conjectures:
1. Recent Approvals are for February applicants
2. If an application can survive beyond 3-4months, it stands a good chance of being approved.
I stand to be corrected.

Please, what is your take about this.

There are applications on this thread that took 5months before getting approved. There is also someone her (VEIL1234 who applied in February and has gotten approval. With this in mind, i don't think there is a pattern. Each application is treated on its own. There is also a processing time stated on the CIC website and if you dont get any response after that time, you can contact them to inquire about your application.

Our in-house consultants may be able to provide a better answer.

I applied in March 26 and biometrics on 1st April and I've gotten a response from them, not a positive one though.

So what can we do now? The same thing was written on my husband's letter.
How is caregiver related to SOWP?
I have requested for the GCMS.

I don't know though my husband filed a complaint using IRCC web form.

And I'm waiting on the elders in the house

Thank you for your interest in working in Canada as a live-in caregiver. After careful review of your work permit application
and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration
and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your
application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in
paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• - length of stay
- the fact that your daughter will be missing one to two months of school.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation
meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.
