The workers should offer something irresistible like increase in productivity, early to work, reduction in man-hour losses and downtime. Then demand for 100% increase in basic allowance which is the basic building block for other allowances.

As a labour leader, I was known for successfully negotiating hardship allowances anytime there was inflation with a promise that our workers would increase productivity and it worked for both the employer and the employees.

It is all about give and take.

A friend working with Lagos state ministry of education said they are being paid the wage award but they in primary schools are collecting 20k while those in secondary school are collecting 35k. Though, I don't know how true it is but my question is how do those of us that have nothing doing survive with this high cost of living.. People no longer pick calls of those they consider liability..

Appearing on channels politics today, Comrade Adams Oshiomole said with the high inflation in the country that he sees no reason why FG, state and private companies will not pay the 35k wage award.
According to him, inflation has increased state monthly allocation while private companies have increased the prices of their services. So it is expected that wages should increase.
He said NLC should go after state government that refuses to pay the wage award.

With the harsh economic, everyone needs extra source of income to keep life going.
I've experimented different passive income introduced to me and ended up regretting it such as forex trading, ponzi schemes, etc

Tinubu is still the best of all of them so far. I will tell you why...
1-He removed oil subsidy, that was a scam to loot from time immemorial.
2-He floated the dollar, everybody same rate, defore dangote will collect dollar for 300 naira, while other business people buying their goods abroad will buy at black market at 700naira.
These are seismic changes.

The things working against him is
1-Buhari left a huge loan, which he has to service, and he hasnt defaulted, he is paying as of when due !!
2-There is inflation all over the world, its worse in countries without good economic policies
3-Oil prices are lower and OPEC is cutting back out production limit

All these 3 things did not exist for Jonathan

Dollars during Jonathan was between 165 to 200 naira
Fuel subsidy removal would have been great during Jonathan because the dollar to naira was still fair but the ACN( APC) protested against it

I felt it may be too early to make such a post but I can see that the present administration are already looking forward to 2027.
Who is in a better position to contest with T boy( Tinubu) in 2027?
The person must be a southerner that will serve for a term.
We were deceived by the APC that there is a better life with them but we ended up having a bitter life. From Buhari to T boy, we were told to be patient that things will change but things are getting worst.
I'm not a politician, if things get better we will consider T boy but if things continue to get worst, we will have to run to Goodluck Jonathan to come to our rescue.

Today, I managed to take myself out and All the fast food joints in my area are no more.
