I know the amount involved is quite small but such can be someone else's breakfast or lunch money.

What I find annoying is the fact that you can't be truthful with little.

If I had transferred 25,000 mistakenly for a data subscription of #2,250, it means this is the same treatment I would get from you.

No explanation or whatsoever since 20th May, 2018 on why you refused or can't refund the excess money paid to your account for data subscription.

Life is a lesson and I will try my best not to make same mistake again.

Is there any specific scan/diagnosis that one can run to confirm Solenoid aka Fibre for transmission issue?

I was just advised by another claimed gear professional that I have to replace my transmission fibre without any code to back it up after scan.

Dear Auto Experts/Gurus,

The subject car gear changes abruptly from 2 to 4 whenever on the road for a longer period of time and I have to accelerate well inorder

to make it up a slope else the car will be stuck on gear 2 trying to engage 3 in failed attempts.

Throttle does not engage after a long driving period also.

My workplace auto guy said its the gear "fibre" while another "Kazeem" said it the gear switch.

Kindly enlighten me on the possible cause of the gear issue and possible fix.

I would have gone for replacement but I have a whole lot on my table at the moment so a fix is all i'm hoping for.

My location is Lagos, Ipaja.

Mine has a lock at the brightest end of the knob. If pushed beyond that extreme, it enteres into lock and all dash lights including radio stay bright when the external lights come on. Check if its same with yours.

Apologies for the late feedback. The trick didnt work for mine. The knob has no lock.

I will try and check online if there is a solution. Else, I will consult a "Rewire".

I have been able to adjust the dashboard light when external lights come on but that of the radio is still very dim whenever the headlight is up.
