Having been on both sides (Client side and Small Agency), I speak with some authority on this particular issue. The Bank in question prides itself in supporting small businesses and has helped a number of businesses grow from small to medium and onwards to being recognized as large organisations.

In listening to the story in the video, you would see that the bank gave the company some work in 2015 and again in 2018/9. That's 4 fo 5 years of partnership - at least. The story claims that the same bank turns around to "harm the business" in 2019.

My experience with the Bank as a vendor/ partner has been different. The bank gave me my 1st breakthrough when I had just started out and that has propelled me to doing so many other things. I was not as lucky as the gentleman in the video to get a 125 Anniversary related job but I can only imagine how competitive the 125th Anniversary vendor bids were and the process involved in job distribution.

All in all, First Bank of Nigeria is not an institution that punishes or bullies small companies but one that supports and helps them grow.

One vendor's video does not tell the whole story. We need to hear from the bank's other vendors.
