A friend also went to collect his appointment letter. The position he was given was Utility shift manager. According to him, the utility section is fully ready for operation. I think they are calling candidate based on sections that are ready.

How many years of experience does he have?

All the agencies and ministries are under the MDA it will be after the interview that everyone will know his ministry and agency on the appointment letter/posting letter vice versa.

Civil Servant works in the civil service, and public servant works in the public service (agency, department and governmental companies).
Ministry of petroleum - civil service
NNPC - agency
DPR - Department
NLNG - Governmental company

Flexy99, have u done your medicals or you called the HR and told u to upload letter of recommendation.

@the cleaner,gud qualification is gud 4 d job,but ur hysys,pdms and pipesim are nt useful in the upstream sector(like baker hughes),wat u suppose 2 be lookn for is oil and gas company in the downstream sector. Thanks

From my observation, top coy's usually have very unpredictable recruitment procedures, (I believe Slb and Shell takes this up a notch...lol) so do ur best and have a load of patience...bliss

@surjman,don't be so forward,let them call u for interview first. The pp presentation will be done by urself but u will bring it to the interview.but if u don't know how to use pp,u beta don't go for d interview.

@alcheringa,the position of field specialist is still there for nigeria,just increase the show tally from 10 to 25,then scroll down,u will see graduate field specialist in nigeria.

@ticom,the 5mins presentation is a power point presentation to be done,then practical is all abt assembling of component either as a group or individual.

They are very many upper credit holders in schlumberger and also distinction.it depends hw u defend ur cv, ur 5mins presentation and practical.u av 2 be very intelligent to scale through. Also d choice of ur position also depends on wats is on ground,because they can call at anytime,even nxt year for an interview.good luck.

Valpinoe: @Phemmy, May be u guys didnt ask. I did my interview on sept 12 for a mudloging geologist position...and we were told they ll get back to us in 4weeks time. Thursday ll make it 3weeks and none of us has been contacted...believing on d 4weeks thingz anyway. pls let keep d house updated on any info.
