Well, i wouldn't' know but try changing ur network mode to packet data(Gsm/E) when u wanna make calls.

Mine has been on 40k/sec for weeks now (am on zone too) bt dis is wat i do. I use Nok E63 so each time i want to make a call, i go to network/connection settings & change it from 3g to GSM/E (packet data) & make my calls at 4k/8k/12k & sometimes 16k/sec after which i set it back to 3g for my browsings. Maybe u guys can try it.

My subscription was supposed to expire this morning so i just load Another 1000 naira on my fone for auto renewal,so it was renewed just to see 300gb in my data balance...
